Not gonna click on something if I don't know where it will take me.

What are you asking about?

From the article: (1st link)

Soy is nutritious and contains lots of good things. Unfortunately, when you eat or drink a lot of soy stuff, you’re also getting substantial quantities of estrogens.

Estrogens are female hormones. If you’re a woman, you’re flooding your system with a substance it can’t handle in surplus. If you’re a man, you’re suppressing your masculinity and stimulating your “female side,” physically and mentally.

And yet another reason not to eat soy/tofu.

I have heard of soy protein causing estrogen levels to rise. I don't think it would be noticeable in men unless the quantity consumed over a period of time was high/long enough.

Oh, I forgot to say what I meant by noticeable in men was. It's called gynomacostia. Not sure if that is spelled right but it is breast tissue that develops in men. This is also a side effect from taking anabolic steroids.

It does seem logical It is first I heard this.

but your female side is every bit as sweet as me.. :)
i hide my female side ( what little I may have )I like being a man. oh and females being females as created.

Didnt know that.

That's why I eat steak and hamburgers to get my protein. That and meat taste better
I was just thinking that you probably meant look at what steroids did to Bruce Jenner and not soy.

I dunno...some alternative health people say soy is good for men, too. Asian countries often consume over 50-60mgs/day of soy isoflavones and they have lower rates of some cancers than we do, here in the US. Of course...there's other dietary stuff (fish, less fat, green tea), but...I think there's more than one angle to the "soy debate."

Probably varies from person to person and how much soy one eats.
