THRONE - Hebrew (kicceh, kissay) covered as a canopy, seat, or stool.
Greek (thronos) stately seat, power
A throne is a seat and symbol of regal authority where man sits under Gods sovereignty and established on his righteousness. The throne is upheld by mercy and subject to succession and also termination. This earth was created for Gods good pleasure and man was created to take care of Gods creation. Man was given dominion (throne) over all the earth with succession to be from generation to generation to take care of that which God created for eternity.
Through the deceit of Satan sin made itself known to the hearts of man that caused termination from the throne of mercy as man left Gods righteousness through being deceived that they themselves could be their own gods with their own kingdoms and soon greed and lust was their god as they used their own power and authority over everything that was created by God and separated the lands for each individual kingdom on earth for their own ruling of a dictatorship reign on earth.
Gods wrath was made on the world many times and laws of God were given to his people, but those laws were soon broken and the world would continue to wax worse and worse until one was to come to redeem man from all their sins as being the final sacrifice for sin and now sits at the throne of grace making intercession for all those who will turn back to the grace of God as Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father on the throne of Gods righteousness.
Genesis 1:26; Daniel 5:18-20; Proverbs 20:28; 2 Chronicles 6:10; Isaiah 64:6
Gods’ throne is resplendent in glory, relentless in power and ruling over all. It is also righteous in execution and regal through out all eternity. God wants us to come boldly to his throne of grace in time of need so he can give us his power and authority to withstand the wickedness of this world, but instead we run away from his throne as we lack faith in God. God is never changing as he is the same yesterday, today and forever and all his promises are yea and amen. God is not slack on his promises and his word sets out to that which he wants to accomplish in all of us.
Isaiah 6:1-3; Daniel 2:44; Daniel 4:25; Daniel 4:34, 35; Psalms 9:4-8; Hebrews 4:16; Revelation 3:21
To stand, to be covered by the power of Jesus (throne), the same power and authority through Gods grace that makes us victorious in all things done unto the Lord for his glory.
