Tid bits.

20. OSAS?

I understand that many churchgoers believe the therology of OSAS. I see so many churchgoers believing they are saved without any eveidence of being follwers of Christ. We are supposed to encourage cech other to be obedient to the Lord and not giving new believdrs or young Christians false assurance.
When I see so many Christians belieiving they are saved no matter what they do or don't do. I cannot help thingking that this theoloty is nothing but the devil's

21. CF rules, and moderators.
what is exactly moderators job? How do they make rules? Is it according to who ever started the forum? Aren't CF supporsed to follow Jesus teachings? Do they kick out if some does not fit in to the majority? How do they come to conclusion that if one does not please majority they are causing the disharmony?

I am typing this because I want to all of the mods and administrators to think seriousely about this. I have been banned in many forums. That's how I have been treated by churches and postors too. CF communities are exactly the same.

22. Persecution.
In communist and moslim countries, the government persecute the Christians. In some countries they allow churches if they don't evangelize and don't criticize anything about their government.
It seems that most pastors and churchgoers of free countris without persecution because most of them are not active in evangelizing and are training themselves not offend anyone.

In free countries many pastors and Christians persecute faithfull ones. Because they are threat to the majority of the churchgoers. They want to protect the majority and not the faithful ones.

23. Guilty conscience.
For believers, it is the Holy Spirit making us feeling guilty when we do something wrong. When that happens instead of simply dismissing or getting angry, we should do something about it to change or stop whatever is makinjg us feeling guilty. If we keep ignoring or dismissing, sooner or later it will disappear. Then we won't even feel guilty and will become incaptble of discerning what is right or wrong. Then we start believing many kinds of lies.

24. Popular churches.
There are plenty of popular churches. When you listen to their pastors' Sunday sermons they have almost the same charactaristics. They are very friendly, humorous and hardly ever using challenging words. When they do challenge, they make it subtle so people won't notice it. It seems that pastors are tryin to please them so hard that it is almost pathetic. They know that most of them want to be entertained and that's what the pastors are giving them.

24. Love.
God is Love. He does not want anyone to perish. If we want to please God we would have an evangelizing heart. If we don't reach out to the lost, they will not enter into His kingdom. If we don't have a heart of evangelism we don't have God in us and we cannot say we have love in us. According to the Ray Comfort (evangelist) only 3% of churchgoers evangelize.

25. Christ like.
All Christians should aim to be Christ like. How do we do it? By striving to obey all of His teachings and commands which is in the NT. If we are real Christians, the Holy Spirit is in us and He helps us to be like Him. As days and years go by, we should be more and more like Him.

26. Denominations.
We have hundreds of denominations. The Truth is only one because God is one. We know that something is very wrong about these divided denominations. And the fact is that there are so many evil-doers out there using His name, but if we talk about evil we will be persecuted. How strange.

27. "Good enough".
Many of us believe that we don't have to follow everything that Jesus and His disciples teach. This kind of mentality is disrespectful for Him as Christians. But this kind of Chrisitianity is so pupular and accepted by most pastors and churches. If someone preaches to be obedient to Him he will be persected by being called a "legalist"

28. Bible knowledge.
Many of us quote Bible verses to argue. The Bible should be used to practice good deeds. It seems that many of us can quote it like Bible scholars. You can find many of them on online Christian forums. How come we cannot find such powerful Christians practices in our real lives?

29. Jesus' soldiers.
Jesus' soldiers don't carry around guns. They spread the good news to their enemies without arming themselves. They won't get payed with worldly blessings but they know very well they will be rewarded by Jesus. Jesus will tell them "job well done." And that's worth everything.

31. What Jesus is doing in my and my family's lives.
Jesus is teaching us to live humbly so we can help out the brethren in need.
Jesus is teaching us to be kind all around us so we can tell to the world about Him.
Jesus is teaching us to read the Bible everday so we can follow Him.
Jesus is teaching us to tell the world about Him as much as we can because without Him they will not go into His kingdom.
Jesus is teaching us to arppreciate everying He is giving us; even predicaments, because without discipline we cannot grow spiritually.
Jesus is teaching us to be givers and not takers.
Jesus is giving us confidence that we can handle anything with His help.
Jesus is teaching us to be doers and not talkers.
Jesus is teaching us to be salt and light in the world.

Thank You Jesus for Your teachings and commands; without them, we would never learn to love God and love others.

32. Cowardliness.
Jesus lists "cowardly" first in the list of those having a place in the Lake of Fire. Many of us are disgracing His name with our hypocrisy. Have you ever spoken up when you witnessed someone being hypocritical? We have plenty of changces for doing it.
Unfortunately, instead of speaking up, we usually speak against people who are defending His teachngs. Being obedient and loyal to Him is not religeousely correct in free countries' Christian communities. Most of us dont wan't to be one of the few Christians.

33. Love your neighbor.
We have plenty of non-believers all around us. If we don't follow His teachings and commands, we can never be good withnesses to them. Being good witnesses is the most effective way to reach out to the lost souls. It is so sad that most of us persecue people who are trying to be good witneeses for Him by calling them"legalists"

34. False converts.
We never know who are false brethren if we are not committed Christians. False converts are worldly, never growing spiritually, quick to offend when it comes to giving or obedience, having worldly kids, having problems similar to those of non-belivers, having marriage problems like those of non-belivers, having the same kinds of financial problems as non-belivers, they thnk as long as they attend the church they are being faithful, they also think being Christ-like is to talk softly, then you are supposed to have reached the goal of Christianity.

Many many of us are one of those.

35. Abuse of the Bible.
There are many ways to abuse the Bible: I will just talk about one of them. We don't read the Bible on a daily basis and aren't obedient to His teachings, yet criticize others using Bible verses. This is the norm in our Christian community.

36. Legalism.
In modern Christian communities, we are called legalists if we strive to obey His teachings and commands. They dont think His teachings and commands are worh obeying. And they persecute people who are obedient to Him by calling them legalists. This is the most absurd mentality as Christians.

37. "Make every effort..."
Jesus tells us in Luke 13:16 "Make every effor to enter through the narrow door, because many, I tell you, will try to enter and will not be able to.

I listed up so many warnings from the NT about lukewarm Christianity. But the pastors and churches are conveying the different kind of messages as if all we have to do is first confession and we are secured forever.

I truly fear for people who are contributing to this kind of Christianity.
