Do you decorate the day AFTER Thanksgiving, or in December? We usually decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving. Not much since it's just me and mom. Tree, few decorations, our Christmas teddy bears, stockings.

I would sell the big golf balls loaded with a kinetic fuse with a half stick and boom no more holes.. then I would level the golf maintance buidings , the club house, and also the irrigation and water lines. the electric would fall as well.lol.

And when the golf facilities are gone? Gonna let nature take it back?
 
Nature is a great playground for children. You cann do a lot for children if you let it grow back into its natural state.
Well unless nature in your place includes alligators. That's not good. Eating all those kids could make the alligators obese.

Ugh I think we derailed this thread pretty good.

It was about christmas decoration.
My parents decorate on the first advent weekend (that's this weekend). However, the christmas tree will only be decorated on the morning of christmas day (dec 24 in Germany).
Most people here will decorate this weekend because its the beginning of the advent season.
I'm not going to decorate much at all. My parents have given me an advent calendar with chocolate in it. Sunday is the first of december, that's when I'll put it up and open the first door of it. That's the only christmas decoration I'm planning to use this year.

Two things:

1) Some ppl don't put up Christmas trees;

2) Up here, Canadian Thanksgiving is in October anyway...

:)

PS: We seem to have so many Christmas cards that they are sometimes coming out of our ears all over the house, seemingly...The trickle of cards arriving seems to start in November and increases to a flood.

Wow you still get christmas cards? That's so awesome!!
It seems people here, especially the younger ones, have ceased to send christmas cards ever sice email exists.
