1. O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free!

Refrain:
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

2. Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion—
For more than conqu’rors we are!

3. His Word shall not fail you—He promised;
Believe Him, and all will be well:
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

So wonderful. Lisa and Truthfrees God Bless you for posting this. Would love to sing this along with a church full of people.
It's such a blessing just to listen to it - His wonderful glorious face.
Glad you are enjoying it! I've had it in my head all day. Its a beautiful song and such a simple truth too! :)

are you a muscian or singer?

you sure do share a lot of beautiful hymns and songs

thank you for blessing us with your posts

I sing but I'm not a singer. I used to be in chorus and band in school so I know a little about music but not much. I really just love some of the hymns I've grown up with because they are a great way to express love and praise for God even when you are in one of life's valleys. Much like the Psalms.

I'll keep sharing more as they keep getting stuck in my head :)

alright, let me put it this way . . i'm not about to grab a mic and let anyone hear me :)
are you a shower singer? :biggrin2

i was in a service and an elderly man was singing loudly and joyously - the only trouble was he was way off key -

i was thinking about this and trying not to laugh at how badly off key he was when the Lord let me hear what the Lord heard and all of a sudden it sounded like the most beautiful singing i ever heard - i started crying because the beauty was angelic-

so i learned that day that singing unto the Lord with our whole heart is VERY beautiful to the Lord - HE hears and sees our heart - we only see and hear the outside of a person
