Sparrow, this might have been a bit of a stretch, but I gave this one to you. Fear of having a disease. Participation is going down, and I'm going to have to take my beautiful little princess to ballet soon.

I tried that one earlier - when I mentioned hypochondria in post #57? Probably should have guessed, "Fear of being misunderstood". :lol

Thanks and enjoy the ballet! Sounds like too much fun. I'll be back in school next Monday for the Spring Quarter. /sigh

Nice list. Saw that last one: Triskaidekaphobia may be related to hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia, or fear of the number 666. I took a Medical Terminology class last Semester. Nice one.

Hexa - kosioi - hexe - konta - hexa - phobia.
In 2006, the BBC listed hexakosioihexekontahexaphobia and its definition as fact #64 in its 100 Things We Didn't Know this Time Last Year.
