I just became aware of this gentleman and his series by chance surfing the TV channels last night. End Times is a program carried by TBN.
Does anyone here have experience with his research? If so what do you think?

Do you subscribe to the End Times magazine his ministry publishes?
Please share what you think.

Thank you for any help. Blessings.

Just for everyone's information; Irvin Baxter is a Oneness Pentecostal minister who teaches the Modalist heresy (Sabellianism) and denies the Trinity.

just an FYI so you know who is preaching

The Jehovah's Witnesses and Mormons use scripture too.
And, remember that the devil used scripture when he tried to tempt Jesus.
But Jesus is a lot smarter than any of us so he didn't get away with it.

He rejects the orthodox teaching of the Trinity. That places him outside the teaching of the Christian Church.

So, if you must watch, watch with caution but better yet: find a preacher who preaches the true faith.

Mianhamnida (sorry 'bout that) :shrug

Hi Jim, what was he preaching at 2:00 of that short video I posted ? I must be confused ..

I've not heard of this ministry show before. End Times magazine I have heard of. Great thread. :)

Irvin Baxter believes the Philadelphia Church will go through the Great Tribulation.

You're most welcome. The whole of the site offers compelling information and especially given the times.
A Christian brother who has been this long invested in bringing God's prophecy to those receptive to it is a treasure.
I'm happy to share.

Blessings.

You are not confused. Irvin Baxter is a credible man of God and has been for many years. Pastor Baxter offers opportunity to teach even of other than Eschatology.

1 Peter 2:1 Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
James 4:11 Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

Irwin preaches the true faith. And it is against policy to claim someone is outside the Christian church just because someone who teaches works is necessary to remain in Christ and God retracts his gift, has an opinion.

Irwin preaches the true faith.
He preaches modalism, a heresy, not the true faith.
Modalism denies the Trinity and teaches that God manifests Himself sometimes as Father, Sometimes as Son and sometimes as Holy Spirit.
That teaching was never accepted by the Church as the "true faith."

There's only one "the Church" that I'm aware people who are members refer to. And that church in my opinion isn't .
I am aware of what Modalism is. Thank you.

It is standard courtesy in forums that if someone objects to a topic being discussed they free themselves of paying attention to it. While respecting that others may find it worthy of discussion.
Courtesy and advancement in grace precludes a Christian from entering a thread they disagree with so as to advance the atmosphere toward chaos with malicious exposition.

Says who?
It's a public forum so when someone posts garbage everyone is free to say, "That's Garbage." Or, if its a great post to say, "Great post!"

Exposing error is not malicious any more than it would be malicious to let someone know that their fly was open.
And one does not generally "advance in grace" when adhering to false doctrine.

But, this being a public forum, your opinion is welcome. :)

Let's try to show respect for the OP. If the individual in the OP and his ministry is objectionable OK. But please don't make the thread objectionable by your conduct here.
People like to discuss. Not fight someone pouring pepper into a thread.
Grace. Mercy. Respect.
Awesome!

Irvin Baxter believes the Philadelphia Church will go through the Great Tribulation.

The Church of Philadelphia was one of 7 Churches that John oversaw.

They seemed to be faithful.
