Bible Study Unearth Fact Discovered About the Garden of Eden

On the subject of the Garden of Eden, I wonder if anyone else has come across The Bronze Tree of Sanxingdui?

...The archaeologists also recovered pieces of a tall bronze tree, which they cleaned and reassembled. As with most archaeological discoveries, there is little debate about what has been found. However, there is great debate about the meanings that are attached to the items recovered and their implications. In particular, “The meaning of the tree has been the subject of disagreement”.1

Indeed, the professional consensus over the years at the Sanxingdui excavations is one of mystery about the origin (and fate) of its inhabitants. For example they ask,

“How did the miraculous bronze smelting technique and the culture symbolized by the Sanxingdui bronze ware come into being?”
“The puzzle of Sanxingdui is a puzzle of the ages.”2

Perhaps the Bible can help.

Not sure what this has to do with the OP, but is an interesting read.

I guess it's interesting to have ancient evidence of the Garden of Eden from a non-semitic people group?

Please do not think I was putting your post down as I did find it interesting as I went to the website you posted. Like I said it is interesting that art forms such as this one that depicts the tree in the garden of Eden, no matter how old they are, is really not evidence of actually being there to witness it first hand, but only comes from what has been taught by Moses who was not even there, but God gave him, which would be many years later, what to write about the garden and all of creation from the beginning. It's like when my husband and I went to Kentucky to see Noah's ark. It was a replica that depicted that of the original written in scripture.

Don't worry, the brightest people have the highest standard of evidence.

One line of study that fascinates me here are the non-Abrahamic cultures who, according to Biblical accounts would have been descended from Japheth or Ham having distinct cultural memory and artifacts not derived from the account set down by Moses.

You would not expect these other cultures to retain every element with the precision of the Biblical account but I continue to be surprised how many of these cultural echoes we find of the early chapters of Genesis.

What about this?

Since we are all of the generation of Adam and Eve scattered throughout the world all would have heard of creation and the creator throughout the generations as we call Him God as that is what the scriptures call Him, but do we even know this Spirit has a name other than reading what Moses wrote in Genesis. Many worship the creator of the earth without naming the creator, but still the same one we call God and serve as we can see in many symbols of the Genesis account.
