Unicorns & JC in the House!

I'm rarely impressed by these post-surgery video's anymore. Every time someone's in the recovery room or the car as anesthesia is wearing off, someone else has their cell phone filming, and it's no longer unique.

Until I caught this one! She goes from a unicorn flying her around to the land of onions, mushrooms and papaya's to a rap song about Jesus!

So funny!! :rolling

Gee, and all I did after my Valium IV when I had my wisdom teeth pulled was drool a lot. Doesn't matter though, 'cause that was long before cell phones with video cameras. Come to think of it I think it was before rap, too, lol!

Ha! Yeah, the dentist/barber/sheriff had me take a swill of whiskey and bite on some sort of stick, so I guess that makes me older than you! :lol

Actually, I believe I had a shot of Novocain and that's it. Nowadays, these pansies have to have topical numbing agents before the dentist gives them a shot to deaden the pain. What's this world coming to? Numb the area so you can get a shot to numb the pain.

There might be something to be said for keeping dentistry so painful, you were highly motivated to go home and start taking care of your teeth. If all I had to worry about was a wild ride on unicorns, I might let them rot just to get back their quicker. :)

Geeeez. I don't even get that way when I'm drunk. :lol And I had a few endoscopic procedures done and woke up fully alert and remembering everything even though they said I might not remember things and never acted like that.

I take no medications for dental work, and even had fillings pulled and replaced without any numbing. That is... until I got this new lady dentist when my old one retired. She scares me. She insists on taking blood pressure and I have severe "white coat" hypertension and she makes a stink every time. I hate going now and stopped. Taking my BP makes me more nervous than filling a tooth. :lol I know because when I was under my endoscopic procedure my BP was normal when I woke up (whereas before it was high) even better than my wife's BP who does not have high BP. But they're all bent on having one take worthless drugs for BP and cholesterol these days. That's why I mock and rail them. They won't make money off of me.

But back to the video, she's really funny! Probably she's an imaginative type of person who day-dreams a lot and when that happens, she may not tell the difference when she's a little looped yet.

Hehe.:lol
I had my wisdom teeth taken out last year and I seemed to have a fairly clear head afterwards. Maybe had a little trouble walking straight. If that. (Then again, I did sleep a bit waiting on my ride home, so maybe by the time they came to get me whatever effect the anesthesia had on me had mostly worn off.)

Yeah, but not as cool...I bit down on a bullet.

Yeah, not really. Actually, my dentist had me bite down on a packet filled with cyanide mixed with Anthrax just short of breaking it in my mouth. In order to distract the pain, had me use a hammer to pound led nails in my temples.

Yeah, I was tough and cool.
