(Updated) Quiz: Which theologian are you?

vic C. said:
There is also one on eschatology. Does this rate me a leaky dispensationalist? Johnny Mac would be proud of me. I notice I am a little weak on "left behind." What does that mean[/]? Hey, is Moltmann ... Eric Moltmann?

It means you're a little weak on pretribulationalism. Also, I didn't think someone who basically followed reformed theology to be much of a dispie anyway.

Surprised Ehh? I am definately a premillenialist. There are a few reformed premillenialists. Have you ever heard of George Ladd? Do you realize johnny mac (John McArther) calls himself a "leaky dispensationalist?"

It might surprise you even more to learn that I was a practicing member of the Open Plymouth Brethren for about 7-8 years. I left about 2-3 years ago and have been more like a ship adrift. Sometimes I dont know what to call myself. For about 10 months I have been in attendance at a "regular baptist" church. The Church ascribes to the 1689 London Baptist Confession, the same as Spurgeon. However, I am not a member where I attend. Thats weird huh? I have a personal story that I dont want to discuss here, but as I said, I am aware that I am like a ship adrift in the sea of theology. I am not very connected to any theological tradition, but I know that I am quite Calvinistic in my soteriology. This does not mean I think my current spiritual life and connections are a good idea. Actually it stinks. I would love to be connected to a theology and some Church deeply. I want that in the worse way, but since I have left the Pbrethren, I have floated around way too much. It sounds like I am searching, and maybe I am.

Maybe I am more noisey then reformed?

LOL. ;)

George Ladd
Yes, I am familiar with Ladd. He's premil, post trib, correct? I have no issues with that. I also haven't fully swung towards amil as of yet, although I lean that way sometimes. I'm still premil, sans the future 70th. week belief. So I guess I don't fit any of the predefined beliefs either. :lol

Veritas, what is that smoke coming out your ears? Yeah, did you think that quiz was non sequitor?

I found myself squinting in frustration at the selections quite often

.... and I'm fairly sure I answered agree to entirely contrary beliefs... as dictated by the quiz.

You know, I've got a real problem aligning myself with any particular theology. I've never studied theology and don't wish to but I suppose there are some elements of each man's theology that I agree with and others that I disagree with. The bottom line for me however is the premise or foundation. Unless one builds on the right foundation then everything else built will be shaky. So unless we begin with the same knowledge or understanding there are going to be vagaries that will cause us to disagree.

Here's what I got:
