Under President Biden the US dollar has been extremely strong. That's good for investors, US consumers, and the country as a whole as it keeps the dollar as the dominant currency on the world market.

So what does Donald plan to do if elected? Not only does he plan to give more tax breaks to the super rich and mega corporations, he and his team also want to devalue the US dollar....on purpose! Apparently they're thinking a weaker dollar would help with foreign trade, but they're also ignoring that a weaker dollar would spur massive inflation, cause global markets to move to other currencies, trigger more trade wars (as other countries take counter-measures), and make US securities less valuable (thereby increasing our debt).

Trump trade advisers plot dollar devaluation

Economic advisers close to former President Donald Trump are actively debating ways to devalue the U.S. dollar if he’s elected to a second term — a dramatic move that could boost U.S. exports but also reignite inflation and threaten the dollar’s position as the world’s dominant currency.

Why in the world would anyone not in the top 1% vote for such nonsense?
What makes you think Politico is trust worthy?
WHICH "economic advisors"?
Under trump economy was STRONG. Under biden there is 5$ gas.
Why do you think inflation has been soaring?? OH yeah- blame the guy NOT in power!! Lol.

Add in Donald's plan to add massive tariffs to imports (which are paid by consumers), and we get a clear picture of his economic vision....run the economy exclusively for the super wealthy and mega corporations, massively raise costs for the American middle and lower classes, and severely weaken the US dollar.

You just believe this from Dems. There is no such plan.
Under trump, no costs were raised.
WHO pulled troops from iraq? The guy the entire Left hates - or the guy they Love?

Under WHO have illegal immig's been pouring thru the border? The great guy who secured it - or crazy joe who left it open??

If you have anything showing the material is incorrect, post it.

Under trump economy was STRONG.
Nope. Donald was the first President since Herbert Hoover to leave office with a negative jobs creation record.

Under biden there is 5$ gas.
The price of crude oil is set globally. Under President Biden, US domestic oil production is at record levels.

Why do you think inflation has been soaring??
Because of global supply chain issues coupled with post-pandemic increases in consumer demand. Under President Biden, inflation in the US has gone down dramatically and we're doing much better than most of the rest of the developed world....all without having to endure a recession as many economists expected.

[quuote]You just believe this from Dems. There is no such plan.[/quote]
Sorry, but to remind you again I'm not taking things as true because you say so.

Under trump, no costs were raised.
Incorrect.

WHO pulled troops from iraq?
Donald was the one who surrendered to the Taliban.

Millions more salaried US workers are set to be eligible for overtime pay starting July 1

NEW YORK (AP) — The Biden administration has finalized a new rule set to make millions of more salaried workers eligible for overtime pay in the U.S.

The move marks the largest expansion in federal overtime eligibility seen in decades. Starting July 1, employers will be required pay overtime to salaried workers who make less than $43,888 a year in certain executive, administrative and professional roles, the Labor Department said Tuesday. That cap will then rise to $58,656 by the start of 2025.

“Too often, lower-paid salaried workers are doing the same job as their hourly counterparts but are spending more time away from their families for no additional pay. That is unacceptable,” acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su said in a prepared statement.

She added that the administration was “following through on our promise to raise the bar.”

Tuesday’s news marks a significant jump from the current overtime eligibility threshold of $35,568, which was set under the Trump administration in 2019 — just three years after a more generous Obama-era effort was ultimately scuttled in court after facing pushback from some business leaders and Republican politicians.

The Labor Department estimates that 4 million lower-paid salary workers who are exempt under current regulations will become eligible for overtime protections in the first year under the new rule. An additional 292,900 higher-compensated workers are also expected to get overtime entitlements.

Duh, he had to because of the agreement Donald signed with the Taliban.

""said Senator Elizabeth Warren, a Massachusetts Democrat, who supported Biden’s decision to end US involvement there.""

So one of your own supported "surrendering to the taliban". Mabye the thing about Trump's signing the agreement being a "surrender" is true, mabye not - but Dems absolutely were pro-getting out of iraq.

Whats good for the elephant is good for the donkey.

You're not making any sense. The fact remains, Donald signed the deal with the Taliban (that included releasing 5,000 Taliban prisoners) that required the US to withdraw from Afghanistan.

To repeat for the umpteenth time...

President Biden submitted multiple funding requests for increased border agents, increased border and POE surveillance, and increased staffing for immigration courts. Congressional Republicans denied them.

President Biden worked with Senate Republicans to reach a bipartisan immigration reform bill that would significantly roll back the asylum program, massively increase border agents, and undo the backlog in the immigration court system. Don the Con ordered House Republicans to not let it be voted on and even said to blame him for it.

Your empty talking point is directly contradicted by reality. Facts matter.
