In the land [The Earth] was unformed and void and darkness the abyss and the Spirit of God moved upon the water And God-Breathed the Word Let there be light and there was morning the light
You see in the beginning, there was The Spirit of God [the Father רוח אלוהים Ruach-Elohim] or main embodiment of GOD [Yahweh, Jehovah], and then "God-breathed" [or Ruw'ach Hakkodesh: the Holy Spirit; Also note Pslam 51:11 the same hebrew רוח הקודש] what did God breath? He breathed the Word [Dabar-Yahweh דבר אלוהים also contrast Genesis 15:1 with Dabar-Yahweh = Word of God] and once the three were in accord it was so, and "The Spirit of God" seen and it was good.
Definition:
ruw'ach (roo'-akh)
wind; by resemblance breath, i.e. a sensible (or even violent) exhalation; figuratively, life, anger, unsubstantiality; by extension, a region of the sky; by resemblance spirit, but only of a rational being
The entire Creation of Genesis continues on through the same way as this. Each time, God is present, the Holy Spirit consults the Word of God that commences the creation, then the Father sees, and notes it is worthy.
Other like [not all inclusive] OT scriptures that show a separation of God are:
"The Word of God" - Genesis 15:1, 1 Samuel 3, 2 Samuel 7:4, 2 Samuel 24:11, 1 Kings 6:11, 1 Kings 12:22-24, 1 Kings 13:1, 1 Kings 14:18, 1 Kings 16:7, 1 Kings 18:1;31, 1 Kings 19:9-11, Ezekial 1:1-3, 3:4, Hosea 1:1-2, Psalm 33:4;6, Joel 1:1, Jonah 1:1, Jeremiah 1:4-5, Micah 1:1, Nahum 1:1, Habakkuk 1:1, Zephaniah 1:1, Haggai 1:1-3, Zechariah 1:1, 4:8, 12:1, Malachi 1:1 --- NOTE: The WORD/Word of God typically appears to mortals, interacts with humanity, gives commands from GOD, and is basically a physical apparition. This Word of God also accepts worship!
"The Holy Spirit" - Genesis 6.3, Numbers 11:25-26; 27:18, Judges 3:9; 6:3-4; 11:29; 13:25, 14:6, 19; 15:14, 1 Samuel 10:10, 11:16, 16:13-14, Isaiah 11:1-2, 30:1, 32:15, 63:7-14; 2 Kings 2:9-10; Ezekiel 3:14, 11:5; Zechariah 4:6; Haggai 2:5 --- NOTE: The "Spirit" typically moves people, inspires, causes action, or enters into people.
Other typical appearances of the word GOD or LORD in the Old Testament tend to refer to locations where the original tetragrammaton YHWH or יהוה appears.
So using this in accord with John 1:1 - "In the beginning there was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was GOD." You can see how even in the 1st Chapter of Genesis, this was true, a well as throughout the Torah and Tanakh.
I hope many can use this to settle Trinity teaching using Old Testament scriptures... Just be careful, Rabbis may spit at you!
