Water Intoxication

you may be right but I do not see it the same.
Oh, I never meant to say anyone has to agree with any of this. (Despite what is on your TV right this very minute [Sept 23, 2014] about diet sodas and artificial sweeteners) I don't even adhere to all of it........ I just happen to know how dumb I am being when I don't.

I had a spoonful of sugar with my oatmeal this morning, and margarine. And I just had a peanut butter and banana sandwich (regular rye bread) for lunch, pretzels .... with a brownie. And a cup of coffee.

And of all that, the one, and only, single item that will not cause my body problems having to deal with it is the oatmeal................... yet I put a spoon of sugar on that. The water intake is really about the only thing I seem to be able to stick to religiously.

4 cups of coffee is a quart.... 2 sodas= 3 cups 1 orange juice about a 1/2 gallon so far...
from experience dieretics cant count. and well I don't drink pure reverse osmisos water as well that could be me you reading about. I drink about a gallon within a few hours if its hot enough.

I wasn't going to push the diuretics angle too much................... I figured people were already calling me a liar under their breath about just needing so much water in our diets.

I have consumed one gallon of water within a five hour period and STILL had the effect of heat stress.

I quit sugar 14 years ago, I only get it if I go out to eat and order half/half tea other than that no sugar. I also quit drinking sodas as much as I did about once a week I drink Dr. Pepper. Very rarely do I do deep fried foods. Same with can food only once a month I will open a can of peas or something. Also same with meds I try natural products before I go to Doc.

Oranges are one of the biggest "No-no's"... bananas, too...followed by yogurt.
Dairy is supposed to be off limits, altogether.... but I do cheat some. As bad as milk is for adults, (actually, anyone past infancy), I love the stuff.
And, as we all should know, Sodas (especially artificially sweetened Diet types) have no business in the human body. Same with Sports Drinks (all the supposed "good" stuff in them is strictly chemicals.)
Coffee is hard to break, but at least I like it without cream or sugar. But, I have gotten down to only one cup per day... MOST days. Never have been much for tea, and the ones I did like are not too good for us. Did you know they both actually cause you to LOSE water content because they stimulate excessive urination?
Limit alcohol? Nope. Don't touch it at all. There is not one thing in alcohol that does not fight our bodies.
Table salt is out.... but Sea salt tastes better, anyway.

When you get into truly learning about diet and nutrition, it is staggering what "modern" man has done to himself since we pretty much quit eating and drinking real food.

A not so often seen verse says it all for me

Ezekiel 47:12
12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade , neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed : it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Wow your as bad as me. But Willie tell me why Bananas & Oranges are a no no ?

Nope, not a bit. I've always liked water, and thought I was drinking plenty at a gallon a day (more in the summer, working outdoors). But this doctor had me double up on it.... and every bit of the pain in my knees went away.

Thanks for the great info!
