We need to love the murderer, rapist and mobster!

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant (Matthew 18:21-35) – Jesus tells a parable about a servant who was forgiven a great debt but refused to forgive a smaller debt owed to him. His lack of mercy led to severe consequences, illustrating how God expects us to extend forgiveness as He does.
Does God forgive without repentance
I can not; it has to be God's work in me. God’s grace is not just about forgiveness—it actively works in our hearts to bring transformation. His kindness and mercy draw us toward repentance, leading us to a renewed life in Him.
Not u in general

So I tend to be against the death penalty because of mistakes that are made and have been made.
But it also has to exist for some cases.

I agree wholeheartedly with you that some persons should be kept FOREVER out of society.
It's our RIGHT to live a peaceful life without having to worry about being victimized in one way or another.
The Almighty Eternal One, the One Who Created all things, the One Who Gives Life,

gave PERFECT instructions how the people could (and did?) deal with crime/criminals, who should be put to death, who not, and so on. HIS INSTRUCTIONS did not include any jails. Period.

who should be put to death,
Under the law, but we live in the age of grace. If you look at the woman caught in adultery, Jesus said Let he who is without sin throw the first stone. We would all stone each other to death, and there would be no one left. Look at some of the Christian websites. That is exactly what is going on. People are all throwing stones at each other and accusing them without passing judgment on themselves.

This could be an interesting conversation follower....
God gave instructions on how to deal with crime.
Do you believe each and every law given in the OT was by God Himself?
Could it be that some of those laws were by Moses?

If man is sinful and not perfect...
HOW could we really know whether or not someone is guilty?
Have mistakes never been made?
What if YOU were involved in a crime somehow...but did not COMMIT the crime...
but you were sentenced to death for it?

Death is final and cannot be reversed.
Life is for God to give and to take...
not man.

"Moses permitted you to divorce your wives because of your hardness of heart; but it was not this way from the beginning." (Matthew 19:8)
Agreed.
Some laws were passed by Moses.
But Jesus corrected some of them.

Jesus said we are to love God with all of our heart, mind, soul and strength. Moses said all of our heart, soul and strength. Only Jesus can add to what we learn from Moses. In Deuteronomy Moses said: 15 "The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him.'.

ONLY Jesus can add to what we learn from Moses.

In Deuteronomy 6:5, Moses says:

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”

Jesus, when asked about the greatest commandment, quotes this in Mark 12:30:

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
But Jesus corrected some of them.

Does God forgive without repentance
1 Thessalonians 2 16 " In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last."

I wish God would drop the boom on us from the beginning so we would quit sinning. But he waits, even we think we are going to get away with it. But the day comes when we have a price to pay for our sin.

We eat fast food and everything is fine. But then 15 years later the doctor is putting in stints and ballons to try to get rid of the blood clots.

I guess I don't understand your point Elijah.
Sorry.
