At times I ask myself the question: what if Christ has already come and has taken His children to heaven a long time ago? LOL.....seems His coming has lingered...

You don't have to worry about that as you will know when Christ returns. As for the lingering much yet needs to be fulfilled, but all in Gods good timing.

1Thessalonians 4:16 for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Revelation 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
2Pe 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
2Pe 3:11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
2Pe 3:12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
2Pe 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

I do not believe the second coming has occurred. He is not slack, it will happen when and how He has planned.
off topic. you don't believe that ad 70 was a parousa for isreal?

Do I believe that all the Jewish and Gentile believers were taken up to meet the Lord in the air? No
the position of the orthodox preterist is the first parousa was a judgment and removal of isreal from the scene. the temple was desolated.

We can use whatever language we'd like. I do not believe that He has returned as He will in the future.

ok. you argue from a preterist postion/historicist and yet say this. okaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.

preterist believe that jesus never touched the earth the first parousa just that he used rome to judge isreal and the visions were signs of that judgment. angelic forces from heaven fighting with the romans to take Jerusalem out.

Even animals recognise Him. They'd rejoice exceeding when He arrives.
you taking the verse in romans to get that.ok for the whole creation cries for the redemption. jewish thought. I can go into that more deeply

I'd appreciate, sincerely.

ok, that comes from the sages, its based in genesis. it means that all that is on the earth and space has a ruach, they cry out for the Glory of God. basically the way we see a dog or animal of anykind that shows compassion is doing what reminds us that there is a creator. or how the earth suffers from our folleys. ie wars, pollution, etc. or how we mistreat animals.
