The quote is attributed to Orwell, but never proven to be his.

He was a Socialist, but also was a man of complicated nature. Fter WWII, he developed srong Communism, Nazism, and anything he saw as totalitarianism. Remember, Orwell wrote Animal Farm and 1984, as you mentioned, which very clearly portray the dangers of Communism.

lol, thanks for your time in vietnam. i taught the royal rangers on a soldier that i know that died in country. made up a memoral from my gear and used a bb gun for the m-16 and we played taps.

Thanks jason. I still visit the graves of two of my buddies who died in Vietnam in 1966. They were 20 years old.

i was thinking of wadman today and a few days ago. theres something i should post on the way we define service.

sometimes i think we have made it something that it shouldnt be but when i ponder all the hell that we have faced its not enough.so i bounced around on that. wadman forced me to ponder what service was.God used him to do that to me.
