  • Focus on the Family

    Strengthening families through biblical principles.

Focus on the Family addresses the use of biblical principles in parenting and marriage to strengthen the family.

We're grafted into Christ, not Israel!

Once again with the assumptions and accusations. Nothing you or anyone else on these sites, say or do, will ever change the truth or the facts! The biblical truth will be told!!
ah yes that somehow despite the past failures of europe and america to be jew friendly its anti-semetic to think that isreal as a nation has a right to exist.

yes i guess i should forget MY family and join the the ranks of the truth. NOT. and i dont even see modern isreal in prophecy.imagine that.

What did Yehovah promise Abraham? I thought he said "... And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed." It is my understanding the Hebrew word translated here as blessed has several meanings. It can also be translated as 'mixed' or, hold on now, as 'grafted' too. In fact the word is used only three times in the entire Bible namely Genesis 12:3, 18:18 and 28:14. I believe Paul speaks of this as well in Romans chapter 11. How the wild branches (gentiles) are grafted into the true vine (Israel).
Ezekiel explains everything. The kings of Judah are rejected for Christ the branch.

Eze 17:22 Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will also take of the highest branch of the high cedar, and will set [it]; I will crop off from the top of his young twigs a tender one, and will plant [it] upon an high mountain and eminent:
Eze 17:23 In the mountain of the height of Israel will I plant it: and it shall bring forth boughs, and bear fruit, and be a goodly cedar: and under it shall dwell all fowl of every wing; in the shadow of the branches thereof shall they dwell.
Eze 17:24 And all the trees of the field shall know that I the LORD have brought down the high tree, have exalted the low tree, have dried up the green tree, and have made the dry tree to flourish: I the LORD have spoken and have done [it].
It was prophecied in the old testament.

It was prophecied in the old testament.

Well then once again it seems we another contradiction in scripture. Because not only did Yehovah himself promise to Abraham that his seed shall inherit the land and that the nations shall be grafted into it. Yehovah swore by Himself that this will happen. When God swore by Himself it means He will keep the promise regardless of what man thinks or does.

Just maybe Ezekiel might be speaking of something entirely different than what you think he is? A good rule of thumb is called the 20/20 rule. Read atleast 20 verses before and 20 verses after the particular verse in question to understand it s context. Sometimes you might need to read more as it is just a rule of thumb. IMHO I think you are tryi g to fit a square peg into a round hole.

But if you insist, how do you then explain to someone that Yehovah likes making promises and then breaks them? How could you expect someone to have hope in any promise He made?

[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.
[9] Nicodemus answered and said unto him, How can these things be?
[10] Jesus answered and said unto him, Art thou a master of Israel, and knowest not these things?

Grafted into Christ??:study

The job of the devil and hypocrites is to lie, distort scripture, and to try to weary true believers, but thanlks to the written word, his lies are but games because the truth is there!
