For me it's when my I feel my space is being violated. I live with quite a few people and when I have my headphones on that means don't sit next to me or start talking to me. I'm in my own space and it's my time out. It's so annoying. It happens everytime.

Humans can be annoying. One day I'm going to live on my own and get a dog.

That annoys me too as well as people trying to shove their beliefs on me. I don't mind if they share their opinion, but it really annoys me when they try to get me to believe what I believe.

I am annoyed when people confuse the USA with the Church. As in "this is a Christian Nation", and "America has to turn back to God".
Those are probably opinions that many Christians find annoying!

The USA has freedom of religion I guess that's why it's suppose to be free. It's not suppose to be religious republic.

I agree with you.

It's annoying when your driving and some idiot flicks a stone and puts a chip on your window and it turns into a big crack by the time you get home and you need to replace your windscreen.

Unfortunately some people do get persecuted in the USA, mostly Christians for there belief, that's next to the jews of course, the jews never get break no matter where they are in the world they always getting picked on.

I don't find it annoying when people mention the USA was a Christian nation and it is historically accurate so I have no problem. However, what does annoy me is when people are kind to someone and then that person turns around and treats them terribly. Thankfully the Bible tells us a lot on this issue, but it doesn't make it any easier to see happen to others or for it to happen to myself.

I started driving for Uber eats to make some extra cash and the other day I had a delivery that consisted of picking up one smoothie and delivering it to a customer who lived in a gated community where the code she gave me didn't work. Then I had to find parking and climb the stairs to her third floor apartment. I only got an $0.84 tip. Very annoying.

The world in general would go Jews then Christians for most persecuted, but if self persecution is included it would probably be the muslims who are most persecuted because they always consitently jihading and abusing each other.
What kinds of things do you call persecution of Christians in America?

Why do you think that it's an historically accurate statement?

That bites! Sorry to hear you went for that. I remember when my husband did Uber Eats for a while. He got one milkshake and drove like 20-30 minutes to deliver it. He got a $20 tip, though...so it was like a $25 millshake. That is rough not to get a nice tip after the trouble.

The apartment we lived in at the time added a gate and there were like originally 2 entrances to the property and it is faster ro go to the side that was always shut. I added it in the memo before, but the main gate was only closed at night so they would be circling and I would usually message them. Only once we had someone get it right first try, but they lived in our complex. I always felt bad for the Uber eaters that got our order, but we always did our best to tip nicely.

Just the general view of christians and Christianity is a start. We can start easy.

Not sure how many Hollywood moves there are that don't contain the words "Jesus Christ" or "god damn" or "holy S----" and how often it's used in general because it brainwashes the masses and half the country mindlessly blasphemes. Of course it's suppose to be offensive towards Christians. You don't hear it about Buddah or some Sikh guru. Only Christianity. It's purpose blasphemy.

Could you imagine in a Islamic country if someone blasphemed allah or Mohammuds name , exactly it wouldn't happen, probably because they would be publically executed and know it.

From what I have come to understand, the pilgrims came over to what we now know as the USA to flee the persecution they had faced back in the Old World. They brought their beliefs in God with them of course. On the Mayflower the pilgrims had written the Mayflower Compact, which was more of a covenant with Puritan beliefs as how to deal with conflicts and such. From what I have heard the original Mayflower Compact was lost, but the closest we have to it is Mourt's Relation in the 1600's as an account of the event by Edward Winslow and William Bradford and it says:
In the name of God, Amen. We whose names are underwritten, the loyal subjects of our dread sovereign lord King James, by the grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland King, Defender of the Faith, etc.

Having undertaken, for the glory of God, and advancement of the Christian faith, and honor of our king and country, a voyage to plant the first colony in the northern parts of Virginia, do by these presents solemnly and mutually in the presence of God and one of another, covenant, and combine ourselves together into a civil body politic, for our better ordering and preservation, and furtherance of the ends aforesaid; and by virtue hereof to enact, constitute, and frame such just and equal laws, ordinances, acts, constitutions, offices from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general good of the colony: unto which we promise all due submission and obedience. In witness whereof we have hereunder subscribed our names; Cape Cod, the 11th of November, in the year of the reign of our sovereign lord King James, of England, France and Ireland eighteenth and of Scotland fifty-fourth, Anno Domini 1620

There is also a unique statue that was finished in 1889 called the National Monument to the Forefathers. This monument is in Plymouth, Massachusetts. It was inspired by the pilgrims ideals of a functioning society, which includes the key elements Faith, Morality, Education, Law, and Liberty. It is beautifully done and pretty impressive!

It was actually the US Congress that approved the purchase and distribution of The Holy Bible in schools. Many of these Bibles had a US government stamp inside and are protected books today.

In 1787: Article 3 of the Northwest Ordinance directs the people of the territories to establish schools "to teach religion, morality, and knowledge.” Nearly every state admitted to the Union after this has written in their State Constitution wording that the schools are to teach morality and religion and they all use the Bible as the bases for their teachings.

1920: The ACLU is founded by Alex Baldwin an atheist Marxist. ACLU is cosely connected to Communist Party.

1962: Supreme Court rules that children may not recite a state written prayer in school (Engel v. Vitale). ACLU lawyers will be involved in virtually every case to remove God from American society. This includes removing Ten Commandment Monuments, Crosses, Manger Scenes, Celebrating Christmas in Public Schools, the National Motto "In God We Trust, etc.

1963: An ACLU Lawyer takes the School Prayer case to Supreme Court which bans individual school prayer (Murry v. Curlett). At the same time devotional Bible reading in public schools is outlawed (Abington Township School District v. Schempp).

All in all, I do believe that the United States of America was a Christian nation founded on beliefs in God. Our nation as a general statement has drifted quite a bit from God's laws. Yes, we still have many genuine brothers and sisters in Christ here and we shouldn't forget the many good values that this country once had and steered away from.

I strongly recommend Kirk Cameron's movie, Monumental. It has wonderful insight into this topic.

Lol. What a rip off. Should have put the smoothie at the gate and left.
