I have found success in limiting excess calories and doing 15-20 minutes of cardio 3 days a week and 30-40 minutes 2 days a week. I usually do the elliptical or a precore machine. I just started adding 5 minutes of abdominal exercises 5 days a week as well and believe it is helping, but it is too early to see a difference from that. But just doing more exercise and some diet has worked well.
