What are you reading?

Just finished Ted Dekker's Obsessed.

It wasn't as good as the Circle Triology or Blink, but it was as good as Three.

Anyone else like Dekker?

Just finished "Cross" by James Patterson.... love those Alex Cross novels!.... and started "Jesus of Nazareth" by Benedict XVI.

Natural Law; theories on reflection and practice. Jacques Maritain
Very interesting; What binds all humans ragardless of race or creed to the acceptance of human rights (and responsabilities)?

The Unity of Philosophical experience; Etienne Gilson

Characters of the reformation; Hilaire Beloc

I'm current reading, and that far into, The Jesus Family Tomb: The Evidence Behind the Discovery No One Wanted to Find. Appears to be alright, currently.

The moth diaries-

It's a Gothic suspense novel written in the style of a personal diary, about a Jewish girl living in a Christian boarding school who begins to suspect that the new girl may be a Vampire. One of my fave novels (I've read it many times)

The Dawkins delusion-

A short but powerful book countering the claims made by Dawkins in his
Book 'the God delusion' mandatory reading for all Christians and non-Christians alike.

I'm currently reading:
1. Rick Warren: The Purpose-Driven Life
2. Leland Ryken: How to Read the Bible as Literature
3. C. S. Lewis: Mere Christianity

As a computer programmer, I'm always eager to know more about the relationship between God and computer science. Donald Knuth's Things A Computer Scientist Rarely Talks About is a wonderful work of this field, but it's not available in China. What a shame. :sad

I have just finished reading Elie Wiesel, "Night". I am just starting "Dawn".

“We were masters of nature, masters of the world. We had forgotten everything-death, fatigue, our natural needs. Stronger than cold or hunger, stronger than the shots and the desire to die, condemned and wandering, mere numbers, we were the only men on earth.â€Â

Currently reading: The Call by Os Guiness and True Spirituality by Francis Schaeffer (highly recommended).

"A Nichols Worth Of Hope"

So far it's really good. It's the biography of Andre' Vandenberg and how he survived the Nazi death camp and crossed three continents in order to find a place to call home. He led a selfless life for Jesus, although at this point in the book he still doesn't really know Jesus, but he knows Gods presence sustained him in the camp when he was dying; it will be interesting to see how that relationship comes about later in the book. I just got past his experiences at the death camp and now he's trying to find a ride across the Sahara.
So far it's a really good book!

Bible (King James Version) - About any book that just happens to come to mind

World Of Warcraft - War Of The Ancients

Lightning by Dean Koontz, great book I'm almost done with it.

Understanding Muhammad: A Psychobiography by Dr Ali Sina

A very interesting book i recieved for Christmas. Unlike most books on sale about Mohammad, it deals with his mental state from childhood to death and how this is reflected in present-day Islam.
