What Are Your Favorite Cartoons?

My favorites as I was discussing in a previous post with someone are the ones from the 80's and early 90's, Doug, AHHHHH Real Monsters, Ren and Stimpy, Tiny Toons, Animaniacs, Ducktales, Tailspin, Gummy Bears, Ghost Busters, Beast Wars, Transformers, Smurfs, Snorks, Catdog, Street Sharks, Recess, Hey Arnold, and so on, I don't think there was a cartoon when I was a kid that didn't like, non of the ones today compare except for a few, Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, Fosters Home For Imaginary Friends, Chowder, Mighty B, Penguins of Madagascar, Back at the Barnyard, and Wayside, and maybe a couple others that I can't think of right now.

I'll just my top 10

10. Smurfs - This cartoon is like crack. You watch one episode, and feel ashamed, but keep coming back.

9. Invader Zim - I can't believe this cartoon lasted as long as it did. It was by no means a Ren and Stimpy clone, but it pushed the envelope with gross, sugestive violence, blood, and human satire. To bad it got cancled. Hot Toppic must be making a mint on this cartoon alone.

8. Doug - Simple relateable and cute at the same time. Everyone had a Roger growing up.

7. Rocko's Modern Life - Gross, inapropriate, creative, and bonzer. Walabes are prime examples of what Cartoons used to test the waters of what is acceptable. Before the flooding of fart Jokes.

6. Muppet babies - It was cute, and had gonzo as a nerdy wierd kid. Pure awesome.

5. Ren and Stimpy - Self explanitory. I actually enjoy this cartoon more as an adult then when I was a child.

4. Goof Troop - I have always been a Goofy fan.

3. Beast Wars - Robots, animals, dinosaurs, death, Ape men, and aliens. This show had it all and explosions. Plus I had almsot all the toys at one point.

2. Hey Arnold - Smooth Jazz, wacky characters, and a touching back story. Didn' t care for the movie.

1. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES - Box sets, toys, videogames, shirts, buttons, videotapes, etc. You name it I have it. Was my favorite cartoon of all. I don't care for TMNT but the latest movie made up for the anime light show.

TMNT is my number one fave as well and Rocko how could I forget him, there are quite a ffew I couldn't think of off the top of my head, I really don't have a top ten list it's hard to put them in order since I love them all equally but yeah TMNT and Ghost Busters are my tops

Have you seen the TMNT show where the turtles from the 80's are brought into the future and meet the turtles of the 21st century?
Yep. I probably have it somewhere on tape. I need to update my DVD collection, if I have any spare cash after christmas. :yes

ROLL OUT!
beast machines and beast wars
I couldn't get into Beast Machines. The concept was cool, but the story was way to serious. Plus they made Rhinox evil. :mad I liked the Bat character, and Silverbolt's new desing though. :yes
I need to track down a dvd pack. I was a huge fan of Gundam Wing, so I probably will like Robotech.
thundercats
I'll let this slide. But its almost a deal breaker friend wise.

lol, theres charachter in their called lancer the yellow dancer. She is a he in disuiges. a crossdresser and brilliant pilot! Ah the invid regis is the best. i loved the alpha fighter and beta figher. Scott , Rand and Lunk were my fav. Lancer is part alien as mother dana was half Zentredi. His real name is Lance Sterling. There is a serious continium and plot here, best to start with the gen 1 thing as admiral hunter is in the first generation and the grandpa of lance is.

For me, Bugs Bunny Hour, Road Runner, Tom and Jerry, and of course the Bullwinkle Show.

There were several others in my day, like Hukleberry Hound and Mighty Mouse, but Bugs Bunny and Tom and Jerry were the best because their animation wasn't like pasted comic book clips with flipped book pages. And, Bugs Bunny used Classical music for its background.
