What courses are you taking in school?

Being Asian, I'm taking all the typical Asian courses lol. I'm in grade 11 and I'm taking: 2 Maths (Gr 11 Functions and Gr 12 Data Management), all 3 sciences (Bio, Chem, Physics), English, Computer Science, and APS (Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology). No spare :sad

What does your schedule look like?

I’m in ninth grade and a freshman this year. It isn’t too busy and is probably going to pick up next year. I have English Drama, Honors Global History, Honors Spanish, Honors Geometry, Intermediate Band, Honors Living Environment, and the standard Physical Education. After school, I take fencing.
Next year though, I plan on taking Honors English and trying out for Concert Band, as well as start the three-year art program. Chances are I won't be having a lunch.

I'm in my final year, year 12. In Australia, where I live, we have to do 10 units, but I"m doing 12. Most people do 12. Most subjects are worth 12, with some being more like Extentions 1 Maths (3U) or Extension 2 English (4U) etc. I'm just doing 6 2 unit subjects: Advanced English, Modern History, Economics, Business Studies, Geography, and Information Processes Technology (information system design).

Much to your Asian dsimay, I do no maths nor any sciences. :P

:D

I can't really make too much of an input in this thread right now; seeing as how I haven't registered yet.
But, I'd still like to welcome bigllama to the Teen section :wave

Yeah, I'm going to be attending High School next year, but I haven't gotten around to registering yet. Mainly because, when I was supposed to register, we didn't have any proof of residency (as we were in the process of moving, at the time).

Were you home schooled?

My next years schedule for college is:

American History 1

Composition
Intro. to Philosophy

I'm taking a lot of classes -.- Plus, I'm home schooled. I go to two home school tutorials, though (NLA and Francis Schaeffer Study Center[FSSC])

Chemistry( :crying )
History 4 (at FSSC)
Lit. 4 (at FSSC)
Worldview (FSSC)
Japanese II (at home w/ Rosetta Stone AND at NLA)
Gov. and Economics (NLA)
Finishing Geometry and going onto Algebra II (at home)
Also, I'll probably be taking a writing class, but it's pretty undecided...

PLUS, I'm going to be taking classes at some point to learn how to teach English as a second language, because I'll be going to Japan in a few years to become a teacher. *gasps for breath*

Goodness.

Love the history 4! I take Modern History at school and love it. In fact I want to become a history and society & culture teacher. :)
Economics is interesting as well, but I have to work hard at it casue I'm not a maths person.

I LOVE HISTORY. Plus, my Teacher, Rob Shearer, is one of the smartest men I have me or heard of. He writes ALL of his texts. Also, my history class is from a Christian point of view.

http://www.greenleafpress.com/ There's his book company. If you like History, you'd probably love his Famous Men series. It's soooo good.

Can you tell I'm pretty passionate about history class? :D
