What do you believe determines a child potential?
If you took a six-week-old child from an African village and raised him in New York, could this child grow up to be a doctor or physic’s?

Sometimes it depends within the cultural environment we are brought up in that influences us to make decisions in our adult lives.

There are inborn abilities not the least of which is intelligence. There are also outside influences, enhancements and detriments. The outside influences cannot put in what God left out in terms of intelligence. But intelligence can face roadblocks in terms of the outside events. Some very intelligent and talented people are held back by a lack of funds to higher education, for example. But having funds does not mean the offspring are intelligent enough to pursue careers that require that intellectual prowess.
