What do you do for a living?

I work in the field of administrative law as a writer. I'm preparing to go into tent-maker ministry overseas as an educator.

I'm a licensed Professional Civil Engineer in the state of California. I work as Resident Engineer for the state Department of Transportation running/managing construction projects on state property, for the state as well as for other local governments and private development.

I provide respite and habilitation for people with cognitive and developmental disabilities. I want to get my RN to expand my horizons and be able to find work anywhere in the country.

Mostly have been doing some rather small TV-commercials and b2b-videos. Was fun while it lasted. Now I am unemployed and working every now and then. Loved my work, but was also relieved when I was fired. I think God arranged it so, that I can fix myself now with proper time.

I also thank God for granting me a such wife that understands (and supports me both financially and mentally).

Thank You Lord.

I am out of work:sad Can you guys pray I get the job? At least if not that one,one that's in his will?:pray

Thanks and God Bless:help

And I did pray that God would give to You what is ment and His will.

Edit. Wopsie, that was quite an old message. Hope you did find a job though.

Might be switching it up to Security soon. Can get all the overtime I want. :) Send up a prayer for me that I land the position.

I was a radio technician (fixed police and fire department radios) for 19 years, then expanded into E911 phone systems, computers and radio systems.

Three months ago, after 31 years in the industry, went to work for Kenwood deploying radio systems for large industry and public safety customers.

In my spare time, I am learning Japanese and work as a motivational speaker at a local nudist resort. :wave

I'm a Phlebotomist at an awesome doctor office! I'm also currently being cross trained and will soon be able to also call myself a Non-Certified Clinical Laboratory Technician. In other words, I will not only be drawing the blood, but I will also be processing it and testing it. I also do poop testing (FOBT...to check for blood in the stool), mono, flu, strep, and pregnancy testing. I just recently transferred to this office and they even have lunch delivered to us for free each day! I love my job. :)

I'm a PSE Postal Clerk for a post office. Been doing this for 3 years, got promoted a few months ago and transfered to another office, now I make $1.83 more an hour. Much like the 2 mile drive my first office had, but now it takes a half hour to get to work :sad This week I'm putting in over 45 hours, but sometimes I only get 6 hours, it changes every week. I only work when the Postmaster can't. I'd like to become a Postmaster and run my own post office someday :pray

I am a loader in a builders merchants, so I drive forklift trucks and carry bags of cement about, I've also recently passed my HGV (heavy goods vehicle) test, so I can now also drive big trucks about:thumbsup. It's not glamorous, but it pays the rent etc. The company I work for is a workers co-operative owned by all of us employees, so the cleaner earns the same as the managing director, and we are all Christians, so it's a great atmosphere to work in.
