What does 40 mean?

I’m 38 soon I’ll be 39. I’m healthy and living a safe modest lifestyle. Schizophrenia well managed with modern tranquilizer. Close to my parents.

40?!?!

I’m not really sure what it means. No kids no real responsibility…

Also no wrinkles and somehow very few gray hairs. Thankful

Mama was making a comment the other night…

Not hurtful but it hit a nerve. Then again when I turned 38 she said I looked refreshed and rejuvenated.

Did I mention Jesus is merciful? I don’t have a busy social life. Kind of goes hand in hand with schizophrenia im afraid. People say he colors his hair and he gets chemical peels but…

I’m allergic to hair dye and I don’t mess with my skin. Thankful also confused

The emojis are from my iPhone. Too lazy to use the laptop often. On the one hand it tends to make my posts shorter. On the other hand…

40 doesn’t matter much in my bubble which is a blessing. A friend works in tech. We’re almost exactly the same age…I think I’m 2 months older. And…

She’s getting Botox. As in…I guess her forehead wasn’t frozen enough so she went back to her Botox lady to top it off. Ugh ageism is my best guess where it intersects with sexism and it’s probably worse in her field than many others. Sad

So in my bubble being wrinkle free and having suspiciously pretty hair color is fun but not required.

I dunno I think my schizophrenia is a big issue and my parents are doing the absolute best to make it bearable for me. It’s not easy for them either but…

Honestly?!?! Mama in particular suffered mightily working a professional white collar job. Dads job was not as rough on him but just a month or two after fully retiring his lab work for his doctor improved big time. What does that tell you?

Honestly I think she’s still recovering from her miserable working experiences. High prestige pay didn’t get good till last half or so and that was something of a miracle. There were times they almost had to get lawyers blah

I dunno people always say God has perfect timing . Ok so…

At nearby 40 labeled as a mental patient etc…

I’m healthy normal apparently I look younger than most people my age and I have the high iq estimate. Awesome

I may very well never be able to work…a lot of it happens with psych labeled people, mix of stigma and then too old not enough work history…

But God has blessed me with things I wanted and needed. Matthew 6:33

You might find this interesting maam, the Bible always proves true. Man states we are living longer, but that simply is not true, Ps 90 verse 10 was penned by Moses, who likely penned it in the late 1500's BCE, and you will find it still holds true today.

I may be flawed in my understanding, but I believe that Gen 6:3 was God's judgment on max life span, but many think it was when the flood was coming to earth. I can only say that most everyone from Moses on did not exceed 120 yrs, and the avg still falls into the area of 70 to 80 yrs which you can prove to yourself by averaging the obituaries. The oldest person alive today according to Google is very near 116 yrs of age.

The world population is aging lol maybe that explains the obsession with youth? Older on average fewer young people..youth is a hot commodity!

Extending lifespan is interesting I think making the existing lifespan healthier would be a good first step…
