What if 666 is the mark of 'Cain'
What if the mark of the beast '666' is the 'mark of Cain' in disguise? When Cain murdered his brother Abel, God put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him will kill him.....
Genesis 4:15 New International Version (NIV)
15 But the Lord said to him, “Not so; anyone who kills Cain will suffer vengeance seven times over.” Then the Lord put a mark on Cain so that no one who found him would kill him.
First, consider that the rebuilding of the Temple during the Tribulation is a total repudiation of Jesus Christ as the messiah. Are the two witnesses in the Book of Revelation come to warn the Jewish people that building and consecrating the temple is a rejection of Jesus Christ as the true messiah?
Rebuilding the Temple is as if the Jewish people have become 'Cain' once again and are killing (hint: denying) Jesus Christ a second time (hint: 1st denial/killing is when Christ was crucified). Then the beast begins to place the mark of '666' on everyone (hint: a person's 3rd denial/killing of Jesus Christ) which represents the 'mark of Cain' as outlined in Genesis 4:15 to protect everyone from being killed through violence or starvation during the calamitous period call the Great Tribulation.
The mark of the beast '666' is symbolic for the 3 denials of Jesus Christ that Christ prophesied would happen to Peter, who was the future head of Christ's church, just before Christ's crucifixion. Peter acted as an individual when he denied Jesus Christ 3 times during Christ's crucifixion. Now during the Tribulation Christ's church (hint: which Peter represents) will deny Jesus Christ 3 times!
Will the mark of the beast '666' be offered as a reassurance to all those during the Tribulation after the murder of the two witnesses in exactly the same way that God placed a mark on Cain to protect him from violent retribution after he murdered his brother Abel?
It is important to note that anyone who receives the mark of the beast '666' is damned to hell for eternity. Revelation 14:11
Revelation 14:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.”
I find it interesting that when John was taken up to heaven to witness all the future horrific events (hint: read the Book of Revelation) he looked down upon Jerusalem and made no mention of the Temple as being anything different than what it was during Christ's time on earth.
If a Temple exists to fulfill prophesy in the coming days of the Antichrist then it must be an exact replica of the Temple during Christ's time on earth, and in the exact location with no adjacent Islamic religious structures, or John would have mentioned any differences in his description in the Book of Revelation.
Believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and rest assured that all of your sins are forgiven. You'll then be included in the rapture where Jesus Christ comes back for all of his believers to save them from receiving the mark of the beast '666' during the Great Tribulation.
God Bless
