Quite surprised to see that which makes us Christian and incorporates us into the body of Christ missing from answering the question posed in the OP.
---> "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Mt 28:19-20).
---> "For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, whether bond or free; and in one Spirit we have all been made to drink." (1 Col 12:13)
---> "For as many of you as have been baptized in Christ, have put on Christ." (Gal 3:27)
No baptism = No Christian
