Don't be deceived! Right, left... Keep focused on the word and stay on the narrow! There is a ditch on both sides of the road. I like to say that simple is bliss. God's word is simple ( and yet deep: paradox)Remember this you who are true believers: God's word is not necessarily revealed until it's needed.

And maybe only what is necessary at the time.. I have seen great ministers failed. Because they think they know more than they really do.. let's fear God! Like having respect to Him and beeing humble.What God reveals to us through the Holy Spirit teaching us is only revealed to those who He knows will understand the deeper mysteries of His word.
Actually it is revealed to those who are willing and ready to listen to Him! Jes. 1:19What God reveals to us through the Holy Spirit teaching us is only revealed to those who He knows will understand the deeper mysteries of His word.

Sounds good to me what you are saying.. why do you think it's a typo? Wanted to make the point the importance of being willing.Is Jes 1:19 a typo?
What deeper mysteries God reveals through His Holy Spirit is given to those who have Spiritual ears to receive the truths given directly by the Holy Spirit or those who the Holy Spirit works through. There are bandwagon ministries and then there are God given ministries. It's all about Spiritually discerning that of what is being taught us as we have to know what spirit is teaching us, 1 John 4:1-6.
I really like 1 John!Is Jes 1:19 a typo?

Maybe not the best suited scripture. Just been thinking about it..Is Jes 1:19 a typo?

Understand yes.. but beeing willing I think is even more important and necessary..What God reveals to us through the Holy Spirit teaching us is only revealed to those who He knows will understand the deeper mysteries of His word.
Now i got it! I am from Norway. We call Isaiah; Jesaia )Is Jes 1:19 a typo?

Not everyone understands. Like moses and Abraham.. they did not understand, but they were willing to believe Him and to obey.

Yes. I think maybe we are talking a little bit past each other.I'm curious to hear what you think they didn't understand?
Abraham believed God would raise Isaac from the dead... what greater "understanding" could he have had?
(Rom 4:3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
Rom 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
Rom 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
Heb 11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called:
Heb 11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.
Moses...
Heb 11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter;
Heb 11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
Heb 11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
Heb 11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
Heb 11:28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
Heb 11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
Heb 11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.
Heb 11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace...
Deu_18:15 The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;
Act_3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.
Act_7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

Moses didn't understand why God chose him.I'm curious to hear what you think they didn't understand?

You are perfectly right! I believe it takes both. Like Hagin Jr said: "the natural and the supernatural working together, makes an explosive force for God!"Of course we have to be willing and obedient to receive that of what the Holy Spirit teaches us. Many things in scripture are literal, other parts Spiritual and some parts literal as well as Spiritual. The literal can be understood with a carnal mind in which many teach from for they have not the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. It takes a Spiritual mind, the mind of Christ, and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit for complete understanding. It's like Revelations, as some parts are literal knowledge, but other parts Spiritual that can only be revealed to us by the Holy Spirit if we are truly hearing God's Spirit speaking to us. Many think they hear the Holy Spirit speaking to them, but what they hear is what others teach them from a carnal understanding.

Spirit first, then mind/soul/thinking.
I could not agree more. It's funny because I am currently studying hermeneutics.So many like to take the word of God and analogize, scrutinize it, pick it apart putting it under a microscope to understand what is there, but yet miss the simplicity of what the Holy Spirit is revealing to us. The world follows the worldly teachings of a man's understanding, but the Spiritual man understands those things given by God's Holy Spirit as they search out the scriptures given in full context. Comparing scripture with scripture, OT with NT is where we find all truths through the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
