Re: Do girls like it when guys call them pookie poo?

I'm sure I speak for millions of pookie poos when I say "Depends on who the guy is!" :D

Ummm...I don't know, I think "pookie poo" is over doing it a bit...

There is nothing wrong with having pet names for your love muffin :lol . I call my wife many adorable names and she just smiles. We are to love our wives not bore them to death so having fun like that is healthy :amen

If I ever call a girl pookie poo may the nearest hobo punch me directly in the face.

Re: Do girls like it when guys call them pookie poo?

Um...NO!!! Do guys like it when girls call them... wait what does "pookie poo" mean, I mean I know what poo means and I'm pretty sure I don't want anyone to call me poo, but what is "pookie"? Pookie sound's like your talking to a baby that just spit up.

No I don't like my husband to call me pookie poo,

ewww!

I can't say for sure, but I do know there has been an occasion or two when Caroline has wondered why I have not called her sweetheart or darling in few days. :)

I think i would kind of cringe. :lol Isn't that from that song??
Calling me by my name is just fine for me. I don't need sickening sweet baby names

What is the best way to flatter a girl you like within Biblical principles?

You don't.

Primary definitions of flatter:

1. To compliment excessively and often insincerely, especially in order to win favor.
2. To please or gratify the vanity of.

Compliment them sincerely, and serve them with selfless love in Christ.

I actually meant compliment, thanks! :)

Telling them they're right does nothing. They know they're right. You have to tell them that you're wrong.

In all seriousness though Dave, it depends on your relationship with the girl. If I want to sweep my wife off her feet, I clean the house. She loves that, especially because she knows how much I hate cleaning.

I am reminded of the film "Phenomenon" (The John Travolta film). Travolta's character really liked this gal who happened to make these hideous chairs. He let her put chairs up for sale in front of his garage, and sure enough, her chairs sold like hotcakes. Well, it turned out that the person buying all the chairs was Travolta himself. What I'm getting at is that sometimes, if you like a gal, you have to buy her chairs, if that makes any sense. Figure out what it is at her core that she wants, and fulfill that want.

Yeah, I know. Easy task! :o

One time a girl told me I was ugly. She is wrong. I am hot stuff and I know I am. :yes

:P

I asked a girl out one time. Her reply was, "No way! You're a geek." I walked away wondering what was wrong with being a geek. :)

Men, men, men. :naughty

Women want to be appreciated most of all. If all you ever did your entire life is say "thank you" to the woman in your life for every little thing she did, you would make her so happy!

A woman would be flattered by almost any statement that starts out, "Thank you for..." as long as it's sincere. :yes
