what is the biggest sin you have to overcome?

Most sins that many try to overcome are of various addictions like porn, drugs alcohol abuse and even those listed below in Proverbs as they too can be addictions of the flesh.

Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

I'm not sure.... maybe anger
That is a hard one to try and overcome as well I know when I step out of line with the Holy Spirit and slip into the flesh.

I try to hold things inside of me, but sometimes it gets to be to much that it only takes a trigger from someone to set me off. I have gotten better with this through the years, but sometimes I just got to yell. It's kind of a stress relief for me.

Anger itself isn't a sin, but we can sin out of anger or by holding onto anger longer than we need to.

For me, there are just subjects I feel strongly about and get angry over.... sometimes maybe it's righteous anger. But I have a hard time controlling my reactions.

At one point I asked God for wisdom. Cuz the Psalms say we can do that.... or was it Proverbs.
But God did grant me that... and the wisdom I got at that time was to basically bless those who curse you. Instead of making a heated argument worse by responding with fire, be the bigger person who is calm, rational, and kind.

It can become sin by the words that come out of my mouth that are not very pleasing as I too have a hard time controlling my actions at times.

Proverbs 8 is all about wisdom; fits with the Lord Jesus 'Who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption' (1 Corinthians 1.30).
