I don't think that narrative holds anymore. It would be more accurate to say that America rebuilds the territories it conquers. Japan and Germany are under unconditional surrenders, which never went away, as in the German and Japanese people don't get to vote to remove American military bases.

You have to know by now, that if we were doing politics 1500s style, that America, Canada, UK, Australia, NZ, Germany and Japan....they would all be the same colour on the map. South Korea would still have to be an off-colour. The capital is Washington.

Stationed military and political involvement is always the marker for who is boss, and it only goes one way. Rumors of staying and leaving are always just rumors if things stay the same, which they have.

If you are genuinely curious as to why places like Japan simply aren't just made territories then you have to understand this is a very old and tried science, nothing new under the sun. You cannot grant political say, or in our language "votes", to freshly conquered places you intend to keep. They have to be molded first. With America still being in the infancy of it's power stage, I would bet my last buck that the establishment is willing to take hundreds of years to see this done. Think Gaul. Considering the evidence of the entire last year, you would hope that everyone understands that the government does nothing but lie to us, all day, every day. This isn't going to be advertised stuff, but the evidence of it happening is right there. Even simple things like why meddle with a nations pornography laws like America does with Japan? Japan does not fly or use American jets or is trained by us ,nor German we left Spain ,turkey ,and Greece and had a large Italy presence and now only vincenca .we had bases in Turkmenistan and uzebekistan we got asked we are in Korea with less then a brigade in for the army and that is so spread out that if the rok army and populous wanted it ,they could take them .marines and air force are with those and the navy isn't much there its called a show of force .

look I did 27 years in ,I was in incerlink as a lay over ,been to man as afb which is closed ,it was there when Russia sent in troops to assist the government ,if we controlled that tiny former state ,it sure showed the Russians we did . that was krygzistan.I knew troops who deployed to Uzbekistan for a year its no longer a base .
