Hey guys, I was just reading that we are threatening Iran if they don't surrender to, apparently the U.S. President. But that's for another discussion. But the natural flow here seems to be that at some point soon our President might make a pact with Israel for protection from what may soon be a group of Arabic nations rising up against Israel. I wonder if in the middle of that pact things might come apart? Is there any chance that we are about to witness the beginning of the "He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’?

And please, I'm not asking to necessarily point the finger at anyone other than to just point out that this Scripture 'may' be coming to fruition before our very eyes. So keep watch! We all know that God's word is true and that what He says will come to pass will come to pass. In the days of Jesus' birth few understood what was happening even though that event had also been well prophesied in the Scriptures. But the people didn't see it unfolding before their very eyes.

Likewise, there will come a day that some covenant will be made with some many that will then be broken. There is a generation of people who will actually witness before their very eyes some covenant being made. Many believe that covenant will be with Israel. For the U.S. to agree to protect and provide and support Israel in a war against many of its neighbors could well bring about the arrangement of such a covenant. I'm just quite flummoxed as to why our present leadership finds it worthwhile to protect Israel against a tyranny that hasn't even been created yet (this is all about Iran's ability to make nuclear weapons that may someday be used against Israel) vs. protecting a nation that supports our ideals against an aggressor who has already attacked and whose desire is killing and destroying an entire nation to bring it under Russian control. I scratch my head at that but then understand that God is in control of all of this. Perhaps our generation is seeing the set up for the fulfillment of this prophecy that God's angel gave unto Daniel concerning one of the events that would happen at the very last days of the Days of the Gentiles.

That covenant was confirmed with many 2000 years ago with the blood of Christ.

Israel picked a fight with Iran, and wants our protection? We've been protecting the state of Israel for as long as I've been alive. Netanyahu has been telling the US that Iran was weeks or months away from a nuclear weapon over and over again since 1992. We heard the same thing about Iraq; They got WMD's, except they didn't. Iran doesn't either, yet they need the US to take out Iran so they can complete their greater Israel project. Iran apparently is the only nation who stands in the way of their aspirations.

Even with the assistance with the US air defense support, Iron Dome and the others, Israel is taking a beating right now, absorbing numerous missile strikes causing significant damage. I fighter would have to be truly arrogant to step in the ring thinking he could knock out his opponent without taking a hit or two. I thought the USA was supposed to be the referee, but we're not. We are partners in all they do. They're judgement will be our judgement.

I was listening to an interview earlier this evening Tucker Carlson did with Texas Senator Ted Cruz in which the Senator revealed that he is a big Israel supporter driven by his John Hagee school of thought; I will bless them the bless you, and will curse them that curse you, speaking of the current modern day state of Israel. In his mind, if we are not fully supporting the state of Israel, then we are in danger of being cursed by God. And yet we like to accuse the Iranian regime as being the religious fanatics. We should really look in the mirror.

Tell me, would God bless the nation who commits a genocide? Or curse it?
