I agree with you mjjcb, what happens during the worship service should be vertical. Then we should go out into the world, and bring the gospel message.

Yup, once again, I think you just completely nailed it down. I think the other problem at our church is that everyone seems to have come from Harvest Fellowship (Greg Laurie) and naturally everything is just spinning off into a mini Calvary Chapel. I don't think anyone at our church even has any concept of the music that we worshiped with pre the 70's and they have no concept of Holiness, thus the lack of reverence that is so prevalent in our church. Well...back to just waitin' on the LORD!!!
