My dream wedding WAS in this lovely, quaint church chapel where I used to go and pray. It had stone flooring, stained glass lovely shaped windows, candle chandliers (not glass), an arched double door, dim lighting, and everything just felt like I was in a cottage garden praying and embraced by God when I was there. I felt it would be the perfect place to be wed. In addition, as a virgin, I wanted a traditional white wedding gown with a long lacy veil, a romanic bouquet of flowers, and a nice wedding cake. It was a rather simple dream but so beautiful and perfect in my mind.
Reality: I got married in my home town church because my aunt had cancer and couldn`t travel. This was the church I was baptized and began my Christian walk in so it too was a good place to get married. I also got married in my mother`s wedding gown on the same day, date, age, and time as she so that too made my wedding special. Also a lot of people from my growing up years were able to attend my wedding that never would have been able to attend if I had had my dream wedding; so one doesn`t have to have their "dream" wedding for their wedding to be special.
I wish all of you who are getting married a lifetime of happiness and Godly committment with your soon to be spouses.
