What is your reaction to a murderer, rapist, terrorist?

It is written:
Luke 6:36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
37 Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:
KJV
Matt 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
3 And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?
KJV

Continuously we hear & watch what is going on in the world via news, internet or phone or through gossip about so and so did this and so and so did that. We not only instantly believe & spread the gossip of everything we hear, we also begin to judge it without any facts of truth.
Then comes our own hanging as we pour out guile from our lips to judge the person whom we do not even know, nor do we know if it is truth of what he is being accused of, yet we want justice, vengeance and even death!!! For this lost sinner!
Then we slip into our prayer closet with God and say thank you oh merciful God for forgiving me of my sins, all the while with a devilish heart saying KILL HIM when it comes to others sin.
We completely loose sight of all the hideous sins of our past or that we may just did, that we hope are swept under the rug and forgotten by God.
Are we playing the devils advocate when we seek those who do wickedness in our eyes such as a terrorist or a willing killer, rapist, robber, liar to be murdered or punished instead of Saved?
These people, just as we have believed in the past or even now, believe they have a right to do these things for something unjust that has been done to them. But until the last man on earth says, I refuse to harm or cause loss to another human being, they will always come up with a good reason that they have Right to harm or cause loss.
Our place is to recognize sin when we SEE it, and keep far from being pulled into it with the lost sinner. This does not mean to keep away from them, for the sinners are who we are called to preach of the gospel of a new way of life in the kingdom of God.
We are to go in and pull him out of the fires of hell and unto our side for a saved and righteous life and peaceful way of life, Not allow his sin to woo us to do the devils bidding, which is the reaction of the fallen carnal man, which would be to wish evil and punishment upon him, pulling us over into the enemies camp fire with them to burn as well. Anger, hatred, Jealousy, Resentment, Bitterness, and the like are actions of our old man who is supposed to die, not rise up and join the (spiritual)dead among the living.

Luke 9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.
KJV

When we judge others and wish ill will for them, for they Deserve IT!! Say we! Then know this, what so ever you sow, that shall you also reap! Love your neighbor as yourself, because what you make happen for them, is going to come your way. Speak only good or say nothing at all, for our words are being judged even this moment, for we shall have, what so ever we say!
I will be praying that we all repent of our evil thoughts towards others sin to receive their JUST dues for their sins that they have committed in their captivity to the devils grip of temptations. And seek for us to come out of that dark place and get back in line with the Light to do the work Jesus sent us to do. He did not tell us to sit in the seats of carnal man who are only blood thirsty with no pity for those held captive. Because he has no understanding of the spiritual things nor power of the Holy Spirit to bestow grace and mercy to teach us how to do right to save ones soul, not chanting with the fallen carnal masses for their blood to be shed.
Christians are not to return evil for evil, nor attack back when someone strikes them, for evil only begets more anger and hatred. Quench the fires of hell with good. If they resist your good, walk away and let GOD be GOD.
But we touch them not, nor wish hell upon them. Just as Jesus showed us to do. Even Stephen forgave them at his stoning. Blameless and innocent is our stance for if we do as they do, then we are still as they are.. Carnal and our beastly nature is showing our nakedness and shame and God can see it. There are enough beastly natured ones who will handle this person. Their punishment is not our business, ours is to be an ambassador for the kingdom of peace to raise them up out of the pit, not go to the pits of hell to burn them alive.

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.
KJV
Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.
60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
KJV

I should have made myself more clear in my OP. I am not saying that we don't recognize one in sin and bring it to the Light so they can see it themselves and consider the consequences of their actions if they keep going. I am just saying that we are not supposed to be siding with the carnal natured man to want vengeance or being unjust in our judgments of their guilt or not guilty for we do not know anything about it.
Of course to bring sin to ones attention, whom we know and love, is the first step to repentance and salvation for all people. Especially to our brethren in Christ, So they can turn from it Before they reach the point of being place in the hands of man whom are only interested in their shed blood and pain, not bringing them to or back in line with Christ & the Spirit to teach them how to change.

Joh_7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.
Good morning Reba,
This is not telling us to bring judgment upon man.
It is saying to not judge one by the fancy clothes he wears or beautiful looks as a worthy person, nor one with raggedy clothes or not so good looking as unworthy, but look at what he does.

Reba,
All disciples are a work in progress, to say that I never stumble would be a lie, but do I believe it means me too? Even more so!
Each day God enlightens us and fills us with new food of understanding to grow on. He does not dump it all in our laps and say you figure it out, and do it today!
Pharisee's taught do this and don't do that, but thought themselves exempt. Even Paul confessed that no one not even him is perfect and we would only fool ourselves if we thought so foolishly. However, it does not take away from the fact that WE are not to judge others sin for we have no idea, but God does.
For when we judge them for what they do, we just may find our self in the same seat they sat in, to see how well we do and to let God see if we would have done it differently. It has happened to me and it isn't fun!

Seems to me that this is what Reba is talking about.
If this is our mission, We had better have ourselves 99.99999999999999% cleaned up.....Sorry to say this but we must think pretty highly of ourselves if we are going around bringing peoples sins to light. Jesus Christ took care of their sin.

Much of what you say is correct but the people in the Church, people on the membership roll, do not live the Word. When the Caucasian/Spanish man shot the Black youth because he was bashing his brains out on the Concrete Sidewalk I begged ¿Christians? not to judge on the basis of the flashy lies told by the News Services but they did, just, that.

And when Officer Wilson was forced to kill Michael Brown, again, I begged people here not to jump the gun but to allow the facts to rise to the surface before judging the event. I lost respect for even asking by a few here that appear to still be angry with me. The one I expected to never regain the trust of seems to have become stronger friends with me than I ever expected but there is one that balanced the event with a, perfectly, terrible result... and so life goes on.

But I would so love to see the people that claim Jesus as their own to act like the Holy Spirit is in control of their life. Keep up the ministry, youngster, it is needed.

What affects my view of murderers, rapists, and thugs is I remember how they, too, were once laughing, bubbly, goofy little children, but for whom things went terribly wrong. That helps to take the steam out of my hatred and condemnation for them, and gives me a broken heart for them through which I can intercede for them, when that's appropriate. That doesn't mean letting violent offenders off scot-free. It means understanding what drives people to where they are at and having a heart filled with compassion instead of a heart filled with contempt and hatred.

But, when God has given us a direct directive, Christians must not seek to circumvent it and God says, kill them.

concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me;

Hear the Word of the LORD:

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;
20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. KJV

1 Cor 5:1 It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife.
2 And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you.
3 For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath so done this deed,
4 In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ,
5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:
10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.
11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

KJV
