What made you come here?

Yeah. However, it goes for anyone who has been lost or has wandered off from Him, that it is better to be back with Him now. While it is different while being lost, you later realize what a difference the Lord really does make in your life. Unfortunately, it seems to happen often that people choose wander off His path for us or disregard Him altogether. Hopefully, it will change for them at some point as well. :praying

And when you come back, you come back stronger than ever. :praying

Wow....this is SO encouraging to see all you guys toughing it out and coming back to God! It's just wonderful to see that God uses suffering to bring us closer to Him! Praise the Lord! :amen

As for me, no I've never really investigated other religions or fell away from God. I'm just one of those "I grew up in a Christian family and never disbeleived in God, but at somepoint I took it all seriously." But I'm starting to see, both on these forums and with some of my friends in 'real life' that I'm really lucky to have had the long-term support.

Some part of me wishes that could have been the case with me and I truly respect people who are able to be mire or less steady believers beforehand. It brings less sin and regret in the long run, in my experiance. I have done many sinful things that I regret and that still cause me trouble. Though I do believe my experiences to have made my faith stronger and made me closer to God. Before my rebellion, my biggest fear was going to Hell, and that’s not what the faith is about. Believing should not be something done simply to reach Heaven, no matter how much faith is to be had in God.

God bless!

Exactly my stance/position.

I'm glad to see that there is someone out there who went/is going through the same stuff as I am.

This is exactly what the Teen section is for lol.

I have a Christian site for teenage girls...I came mainly to advertise it :P I was looking for a Christian forum and this was the first one I clicked on.

When I was Agnostic, knowledge of Christianity fascinated me, and I was searching for God. I went to this site for some advice and thoughts. I am also planning on staying a pretty active member on this site!
