What is it that matters most in your life? Is it all the stuff that the Western World accumulates? Is it a career in the greatest company in corporate America? Is it making millions of dollars in your own business? No, it is none of those things. When you are on your deathbed are you going to ask for all the diplomas you accumulated? Will you say give me my medals, awards, and show me how much money I have in my bank account? No, when you die the one thing that you will want is your family and friends gathered around you. The stuff, careers, awards, and bank accounts won’t matter at all. So what does matter most?

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:2, “I may understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and, and I have all faith that could remove mountains, but have not love, It profits me nothing.” So the greatest thing we can have in our lives is love. Life is all about love and relationships.

The best use of our life is to love one another. It should be top priority in your life. Love should not be just in the top 10 list or something that you aspire to do, it should be what you are about. Why?
  1. 1. A life without love isn’t worth much. We have such busy schedules these days. We are always on the go. Time for family and friends is something we have to find time to do. But aren’t relationships what life is all about? We give our lives away to building our careers, our businesses, and other things that don’t really matter. Then we have to FIND time to spend with our children, aging parents, good friends, and family. Children grow up without parents as role models, elderly parents are forgotten about, and family get togethers turn into nothing but fights because we don’t even know the family given to us by God. If you make love your first priority then relationships will also be a priority.
  2. 2. Love is eternal. The Bible says, “Faith, hope, and love abide, but the greatest of these is love.” (1 Cor. 13:13) Love leaves a legacy. How you treated people in this life endures on this earth and into the next life. Mother Teresa said, “It’s not what you do, but how much love you put into it that matters.” Don’t wait until you are on your deathbed to figure that out.
  3. 3. You will be measured by your love. God measures us by the relationships that we have and how we treat others, particularly those in need. God will not measure your career, your hobbies, or your bank account. When you die you will leave nothing behind except the people you have touched and how you touched them. You should wake up every morning and ask God how you can be more loving to people.
Now is the time to start loving people. Don’t get all involved with the political debates, the hatred, and arguments that happen every day. Learn to love. You learn to love from God because God is love. Live your days to love and help others.

What matters most in your life, is that you dont waste it.

Try to live everyday comprehending the reality that :

1.) It might be your last
2.) something you do or say, = could change a life, heal a life, destroy a life, save a life, or lead someone TO Eternal life Himself.
3.) If you are saved, recognize that what you are doing, literally, you are doing with Jesus in you, while you are also in 'His Body".
4.), YOU are going to stand/kneel before the Living Christ if you are saved......This IS going to happen to you, so, let this SINK IN, so that this knowledge helps you to surpass yourself & refocus your life's purpose, so that you serve Him better then ever, every day.

Here is also something maybe you've not thought about....
People like movies, music, good times.
Some of these are dirty, sinful, or in that grey area where you would not want your minister or priest or pastor to know that you do it, want it, or own it.
But regarding ALL of these, Jesus and the Holy Spirit are involved also, as they are IN YOU.
So, be cognizant of where you take them, and what you show them.

What if you just aren't a people person?

Then you better take that up with God. You are a Christian and filled with God's Spirit. God is love so you have to have love in you. You can't help yourself. Love makes you a people person. Believe me I know from personal experience. I'm a natural born hermit. If you don't have love then you need to take that up with God.

As much as loving others is important and a necessary outcome of being a child of God, it is not the most important. In Philippians 1:21-26, the Apostle Paul writes of his competing desires to love people and to "gain" Christ. He states, "My desire is to depart and be with Christ, for that is far better."

So, no, loving people is not what matters most in life. Paul later reiterates, "Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ" (Philippians 3:8 ESV). Pouring our lives into knowing Jesus Christ is what matters most. (Of course, loving others is a consequence of knowing Jesus, but its value is "rubbish" when compared to our Lord.)

Just curious is being an introvert a sin? Many are that way and loving christians.

Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

38 This is the first and great commandment.

39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

I hope not cause I'm about the worst introvert there is. When I was a kid I would hide under tables, under desks, and on the floor board of the car so I wouldn't have to talk to people. But the Lord has been pushing me out of my comfort zone for years. The first thing He showed me to help me over that was to show me how much He loved me.

It's amazing at times how a small act of kindness can turn someone around.

Most of the time people use these small acts of kindness as an opportunity to get a "one up" on others. But that doesn't mean that I have to change because of them. Just because others choose a life of being a jerk doesn't mean that I have to be one.

Others may lie and deceitfully abuse me and others...but that doesn't mean that I have to do the same.

When you look at Facebook or Instagram and see the pictures of people being happy guess what?
It always happens when they are with other people... family, friends, or someone they just met.
Doesn't matter if you are an introvert or an extrovert...your relationships are extremely important... even when you don't like a brother/sister.

There are christians who I don't like and some of them don't like me.I don't have to talk to them or they me.freedom of association isn't a sin.some people won't like each other.

Of all the people in the world God chose the Jews.
Out of all the Jews Jesus chose 12.

Out of the 12 Jesus was closest to 3.

Out of the three Jesus chose John.

Association is a God thing.

Hebrews, Abraham wasn't a Jew.That's another topic in thaT God chooses to love us and we can reject him.

Well if you wish to split hairs...OK. Hebrews.

Abraham was a Semite...a descent of Shem.

But what I said is still true.

I prefer if I get into Torah know it.Gentiles really don't understand it.I know a Messanic Jew who advises to know it.They live it,practice it.

Well let me tell ya...
Being surrounded by everyone reading, writing, and speaking Hebrew is annoying... especially after 10days of Slovak, German, and Russian.

Especially when so many can speak English.

Well you aren't IN THE US.They don't have to speak English. So how does it feel to be on the other side of immigrant argument?

Sokay...this is THEIR place.
But most all speak English. The Hebrew language was pretty much a dead language that they have revived. Only scholars actually knew it. But hey,. Whatever makes them happy.

I would think that if they wanted to be more tourist friendly that they would do some things here differently. As it is you have to keep your guard up, pay close attention to your surroundings, and deal with the locals who just want your wallet.
