I decided that this needed to be written: These things I have learned
concerning the Lord came not from man, but from the Lord.
There are those in the world that turn the simplest things into a more difficult
and seemingly unreachable thing. They take things that have a very simple
meaning and because they cannot believe nor except that it is of a simple
thing, they seek for an elusive and a just beyond our reach answer. In this
elusive quest they overlook the real meaning and when they have searched
the ends of the world for years they still have no answer, or they make one up,
but the truth is, the answer has always been there and in plain view for all to
see, just it was so simple that many people can not and will not except it as
the answer. Because people can not and will not except the simple answer,
they say unto themselves and others we must search wide and far, from one
end of the world to the other, from the lowest depths to the farthest galaxy for
in them hides this hidden and elusive answer. They say we must study
this word and that word for its true meaning, for in it is the mysteries of
the world and of the heavens and our eternal life.
So what does this have to do with religion you may be asking yourself, well
everything. People study the word of God for hours on end and they search
the scriptures looking at this word and that word, and this verse and that
verse and this nation and that nation and the heavens above and the earth
below for also the supposed elusive answers for which they say unto themselves
and others there is a hidden meaning. These people give off the feeling that
if we do not search far and wide and uncover this seemingly hidden and unreachable
meaning then how can we be saved or be a child of God. So they not seeing
what is truly important and the simple answer that God has given, people are
lead on this elusive path to seek to uncover the meaning's to questions of lesser
value, when the most valuable questions have the simplest answers but people
overlook them saying unto themselves it is to simple, and they say our God who is
omnipotent has a deeper and more complex meaning and an answer
that we cannot understand unless we search the ends of the world, for
in them we shall find the answer, and in doing so they have rejected
the most important question and the simplest answer that God gave them.
The things we let ourselves get involved in like the meaning of Rev. which
is of a lesser value then the thing of most important of which I will give at
the end of this post, for which the Lord values the most. Now back to
Rev. what does it profit us to know when and where we are in Rev.'s?
We cannot change time, nor that which is already written. What good is
it for us to spend hours upon hours to seek the end times? Do we think
that just because we believe that we are saved that it is okay if the end
times where to happen today? Is it good that we seek or pray for an end
to this world, are we not suppose to have love even unto our enemies, so
then what about the other people whom are unsaved and their chances of
being saved? For were we not also given a chance? Therefore the meaning of
Rev. is not of great importance, for you are not promised today nor tomorrow.
If you die that is the end of the world for you even if it is not the end of the
world for all.
If you where to know the end of the world, and if it were to come many years from
now, would you say my Lord prolongs is coming and therefore would you say unto
yourself I can return unto my wicked ways for my Lord is yet a long ways off? Some
of you are saying we do not want to take the mark of the beast and that is why we
seek to understand Rev.. Simple question and a simple answer: If you believe you
are saved and living like God asked us to, then what are you worrying about, O ye
of little faith? Some of you are saying we do not want a one world government or
religion and that is why we seek to understand. Simple question simple answer:
It will either be for God or against God, again if you are for God then what are
you worrying about. Some of you seek for the time when God takes his
elect to heaven and you want to be a part of the elect. Simple question and a
simple answer: I ask you the same thing God asks us all: "Do you think you are
better then your neighbor?" For those that exalt themselves shall be brought down
to the lowest depths and those that humble themselves before the Lord shall be
exalted.
The greatest thing ever for people should be how do I become saved and stay
saved even unto the end according to the will of God? And the answer is simple
and that is: Repent, be baptized, have faith, and live your life with Love towards
others in your heart and express that love through your actions toward others
even if they hate you. That is the simple answer, but to many people say unto
themselves that this is to simple and because God is omnipotent there has got
to be more and a better, deeper, more complex and seemingly unreachable
answer or meaning to this question and therefore these people place burdens
and traditions of men upon the people, saying you are not saved or can not stay
saved unless you follow our traditions and our laws of men. Because people can
not and will not except the simple answer, they say unto themselves and convince
others that we must search wide and far, from one end of the world to the
other, from the lowest depths to the farthest galaxy for in them hides this
better, deeper, more complex and seemingly unreachable answer or meaning to
this question of how to become saved and stay saved, which in turn these
people have made it become an question with an seemingly elusive and
unreachable answer. .
Conclusion is that we all get involved in things of lesser value when we should be
more focused and involved in things of greater value. We tend to make things more
complicated then they really are and in doing so we accidentally place stumbling blocks
in front of those that are seeking the kingdom of heaven. And because of these
searches for that supposed elusive answer we inadvertently shut the gates to heaven
so that no one may enter because we lead people to think they have to search
the scriptures looking at this word and that word, and this verse and that verse, because
we say God is omnipotent and has hidden a better, deeper, more complex and seemingly
unreachable answer or meaning to these questions, but we just haven't found it yet. For
if the unsaved see us as being God's children and we having overlooked the greatest
thing with the simplest answer, then what glory has God been given because of us or
what glory has the unsaved received because of us? We should be more concerned with
helping people find the pathway unto salvation then the road to the end times. :help
