What to do about Horus, Mithra and other "Christ stories"?

No, I haven't read the book, and am not opposed to doing so. I'm just saying that, even if I DID read it, and found it to be an excellent answer to my question, I could probably take it to someone who would "rip it to shreds" and show me their data.

I'm a little "gun shy" of Christians who deal in non-Bible related topics, such as Hovind, who is well known for his psuedo science that the majority of the science community laughs at when they see it.

You won't be disappointed in Hislops book, if the Lord be for us who can stand against us?
Granted, it isn't an easy read, sometimes that's a god thing because everyone of your. try finding that book in a bible book store questions will be answered in those pages. I live in Washington and when I call a store they say, Oh No we don't stock it anymore, none of our stores do
