Matt 24:29-31 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days

“ ‘the sun will be darkened,

and the moon will not give its light;

the stars will fall from the sky,

and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’

30“Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.d 31And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

It depends on ones perspective. Spiritually speaking no. Unbelievers father is Satan, our father is in heaven...some may look at it like, God created everyone so we're all His children. but in the perspective and context in which you speak...no. We're given the power to become the sons of God. :)

Sister...with all due respect, you've been contradicting yourself in this thread. Do you study this stuff for yourself, or just read websites and copy/paste? Then when you get asked a direct question, you typically wont answer it. Scripture says that we are to be ready with an answer for our faith and why we believe. no offense sister, but you state things as facts and in no way back it up with scriptures or clarification when asked. That isn't right. blessing to you.

I back up my interpretations with scripture all the time.Please show me where I have been contradicting myself.Where is your back up with scripture in the above statement?.

I believe in a catching up that takes place just prior to the second coming.

The resurrection of the dead in Christ, the catching up/rapture, the second coming. Three different events that happen almost simultaneously.

That's what I believe.

So you are post trib?
 
At the Bible study we used to have at the Church I attended we had Post trib,mid trib and pre-trib in there.The pastor let us have the freedom of discussing our own views and how we interpretated Scripture.I learned alot.Took alot of notes.

John 1:12
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

First lets keep this in context that we are talking about the "Rapture Only." Please read post # 39 and 59

We must have grace for those who do not believe in non-essentials. If a believer feels differently about something than we do, and the subject is not essential to salvation, then there should be tolerance.

The reason why you do not understand and get it is because Satan has come to steal the word from your heart as soon as it is given. This is also the answer to you question in post # 86.
