You woke up at midnight and suddenly noticed this bird by your side or on your chest staring at you...what would you do? :lol

Probably punch it, while leaping out of bed. :D

I'd want to pet the pretty bird ... and with my cats the bird wouldn't last long anyway :P

SLowly reach for the Colt .45 1911A in my nightstand drawer and ...

... of course, the bird fly away immediately before I got my hand to the drawer. Then I'd call animal control.

Well. Sounds funny. Animal control at midnight?:lol

Believe me some of us would start speaking in tongues and casting out demons. Demonic bird, they'd say.

How did it enter your bedroom? If I'm certain all doors were locked, all windows, openings etc...yet the creature managed to enter my room...I may suspect it's one of those aliens and may justify casting out of demons...or thinking it as something evil.

I believe majority of us would make for the door

For a bird like that, they'd get them out of bed! :toofunny

I'd not worry about answering those questions until I was carrrying the dead bird out to my garbage can, or watching animal control drive away with it in their truck.

The majority of you aren't combat veterans.

I think I would lie very still, blink a few times, trying to determine if I were just dreaming. Not dreaming....Move slowly out of bed, open a window or door and gently shoo him out. But then I've had wild birds enter my house every summer (not the size of an owl) so I'd be surprised but not fearful.

However, if it was one of our local bats....I'd leave and close the door, get the butterfly net and do combat.

I would just tell it that my kids took whatever it was looking for and they were in the next room.

My daughter just made fun of me....throw the blanket over the bat, pick it up and carry it out!!

She's never panics about anything and embarasses me.
