What's for Dinner?

Ground Turkey tacos (with mixed greens, hass avocado, taco sauce, shredded cheese and onion on top)

I just had a Chicken and Bacon Deluxe burger from McDonald's yesterday. Yummy.

Tonight I'm cooking butter chicken. Love Indian food.

We should make this a sticky - the official what's for dinner thread, just like the birthday thread! Anyone with me?

Yeah, but if you do that no one reads it anymore because it doesn't get bumped up in the forum...

We had a "Mexican" chicken casserole tonight, ...yum :D

I had an instance of a fallacious argument...found in the LA Times for extra credit in my Logic course. (BIG SIGH) No food otherwise still... and I am famished!

Time to relax... mmmmmm.......and eat! :lol

Today I had to go grocery shopping and to run errands. So, tonight we are having what I always have on nights that I spend the day in town, then have to drive back out here to the middle of nowhere:

Take and Bake Pizza. :thumb Green salad too.

Plus, I found a totally delicious looking Key Lime pie that was on the special rack. So, we'll have that for dessert.

LOL, how far is your trip to town?

To the grocery store, a 90 mile round trip. And, if I'm going that far, I'm going to get some other things done as well, so grocery shopping is an all day thing!

Today's dinner is a good ole Philadelphia, top notch roast beef hoagie. Which we are world renowned, no place on the planet makes them better than Philly, and we are also the inventor of the cheese steak or the steak in a roll period. And by me being a cook I pride myself when I do have to make them. When relatives or friends visit from out of town, they take these things back in cars or planes. Just take a look at this stuff Philly style

Believe it or not, there is a little place down here in south Ga called Taste of Philly that is run by a man from Philly....and it has THEEEEEE BEEEEST philly's. Tim is from NJ, and has visited Philadelphia and he says they are authentic. We get what's called a "mrs. Pie"...it's a huge hoagie with chicken, beef, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mushrooms, lots o' black pepper, and jalepenos all chopped up and layered until it falls out of the bread, which is oooooh soooo soft and MMMMMMhhhhhhmmm! It's our tradition to get it, take it to Sonic, and order tater tots and drinks and eat it outside :tongue2 :tongue2 :tongue2 It's so good it'll make you :crazy

The "hoagies" were always better in Philly for some reason. But New York's got the PIZZA down!

I'm making grilled salmon and salad tonight. But now I want a philly cheese steak sandwich... :sad
Thanks Lewis :P

A few nights ago we had Prawn Laxa (I think that's how you spell it). Was pretty good, although I would have like more spice. ;)
