it wasnt meant to. kimchi is fermented cabbage either burried at least for six months or put in a jar and on a roof for the same time period or less, btw my wife's grandaughter is part korean, i love kimchi.Fembot said:That Kimchi stuff isn't funny. Y'all are making fun of Asian people.

My kids are at camp all this week, so since tonight was the first night my hubby and I have been at home alone, I thought I'd make a special dinner. On the menu was tilapia fillets, marinated in my own special marinade and grilled. I cut some fresh zucchini out of the garden, sliced it in half length wise, sprayed a little "I can't believe it's not butter spray" and threw that on the grill as well.
The only thing was that I bought the actual fish, not already fillet. I figured, I've fillet trout before so one fish is pretty much the same as another, right?
Wrong. I really mangled the fillets. I mean they tasted good and the zucchini was really good too. But, the whole thing looked a right mess on the plate. Oh well, my hubby and I ate it anyway, and just picked out the bones while we sat on our back porch and enjoyed the peace and quiet of home life without the kids.

Tomorrow morning I will have fried pizza for breakfast.
Pan fried on both sides (in just a little butter) - enough to put a crust on the cheese.
Shhhhh... don't tell.
If you've never tried it - maybe just once? But watch out, you could get hooked on fried pizza for breakfast.

For dinner tonight, again just me and my hubby, I grilled some chicken and slathered my own special Bar-B-Que sauce on it about 8 minutes before it came off the grill. That and some macaroni salad.
One of these days I would dearly like to get a real bar-b-que pit made. We have a simple grill and that is where I do all my cooking during the summer, but it would be wonderful to have actual bar-b-que.
