Hey how about a fun thread. The idea is to give a quote of something that people have said...but it really has hidden meaning and means something else. I'll go first, Lol!

Jesus: "I'll be back soon"

I feel like it's reasonbly obvious at this point, that soon has passed. But this can only mean one thing...It's Working! More people are praying. More souls are being saved! The Lord's harvest is increasing and so this pleases the Father and encouraged Him to extend His grace and mercy upon us.

We're in Overtime, Brothers and Sisters! Praise God!!

You know, When I got the idea for this thread, I was going to recall an anecdotal lie that we told our kids, lol. But then this one about Jesus popped into my head and was better so I posted it instead.

I do believe Jesus is coming back, but as we are to be ready for Jesus to come back tomorrow we must also be prepared for Christ to come back in 100 years. I do not wait up for Him, because i would be disappointed if i did wait to tomorrow. The Antichrist must be revealed first in some way. Maybe in a televised speech, or recognition of authority of world stage. Who knows exactly how it will pan out. Whatever happens we must be ready for Christ return by staying true and enduring the spiritual and natural and emotional hardships that come along the way. Until Christ returns.

I think you missed the whole point of the OP. We are to give a quote of something that people have said, like Edward and I gave and reveal the hidden meaning or means something else. It's to be a fun thread of different quotes.

Yeah like when the kids were super little and I forgot to put money under the pillow for his tooth. Hw was full of questions in the morning, where's my money?!
