What's wrong with right wing politics you ask?

That's politics in general, and that's why I hate politics. But I've definitely fallen out with the religious right.

When this lunatic can somehow represent righteous right wing politics, we've got a problem.

Reason(s)?
Partly due to being put off by the attitude and faulty logic I've seen displayed by many of the religious right. And coming to disagree with what I guess you would call the core philosophy, which led to me having different views on several subjects.
My reasons may be different than your's.

According to Wikipedia...

Right-wing politics are political positions or activities that view some forms of social hierarchy or social inequality as either inevitable, natural, normal, or desirable (Source)

Left-wing politics
are political positions or activities that accept or support social equality, often in opposition to social hierarchy and social inequality. (Source)

In my opinion, left-wing politics is more in line with the Bible than right-wing politics are. I know many of you are probably getting ready to reply to that by asking if I support abortion or gay marriage, but those aren't right/left issues.

The TOG

I find that both tend to try to reconcile Biblical views with their political views in some way. Rightly or wrongly so, it can be hard to say.

Depending on how you view the definition of right and left, my political views would be considered a bit more center-wing.

We should always try to fit Jesus into one or the other of a man made political system because we can't think beyond either one. :wall

I'm not saying either one is Christian, just that the left is more in line with how I understand the Bible than the right.

Using the government as the provider is not a plan in my book
mom and dad feed, nurture provide for the little ones it builds a bond...

in general I agree. the lord made the my family first then the government then the church. its not the function of the government to teach my children(if I had them at the age to teach morals). I generally don't like public schools. its more of an agenda these days.

I agree. Now if we can just get the right to come up with a strategy in keeping with their ideology for a one income, 40 hour per week working family man to be able to raise a family without Uncle Sam's help.

Maybe insofar as what they want to do, not how they are doing it.

I don't know what's worse--the greed of the right, or the immorality and godlessness of the left.

It's a baby sitter. That's what it is.
yes in a whole lotta ways but we cant hold the government for that. as well so can youth group be as well. family and its dysfunction affects government and while the media and left do dismantle the family its not the job of the government to feed and nurture kids. it has to as people don't care for their offspring these days. its a vicious cycle, and its not going to change for the better anytime soon.
