if we didn't have to have the latest cars and homes and TV's and instead live within means and raised kids via working as much as we need to for sustainance. we might have less crime, less need for charity and tanf.

Where does the Bible give politicians the right to blatantly lie to the public, undermine democracy, exacerbate racial tensions, utterly destroy the economy, fail to properly maintain national security, and carelessly waste tax-payers money? Abortion and gay-rights are definitely right-left issues. As is releasing criminals into the general population to commit more crimes, releasing know terrorists to commit more atrocties, etc.
The reason Christians are disillusioned with the ostensible right wing is because there is no right wing in existence. It has been thoroughly compromised.

there are vets in my unit who are married whom cant afford even Tricare. and yet are going to be fined until they buy insurance. so to save them money we fine them to get them to save money. interesting thing is that the fine is LESS the the cost for insurance for some.

if said soldier was in the active duty, he likely wouldn't have that problem. he would be covered for free and his spouse would pay 53 bucks for coverage and their kids a month.

Those aren't left/right issues either. The right is no less guilty of those things than the left.
None of those have to do with left or right. You have to realize that left and right don't equate to Democrats and Republicans. Democrats aren't even a left-wing party. They just aren't quite as far to the right as the Republicans. On a global scale, the Democrats are a right-wing party, and the Republicans are further right. Here in Iceland, where we do have true left-wing parties, as well as parties on the right, people in all parties, the law allowing gay marriage passed with a unanimous vote in parliament. Both left and right parties voted in favor of it, which shows that it's not a right/left issue.
I couldn't see your profile page, since you restrict who can see it, but if you are in the United States, then you have nothing but right-wing parties. The only true left-wing parties in the US are so small that they don't stand a chance of ever getting into power.

while he did a lot for the dod. Clinton fixed the pay gap of soliders living in the western states. he fixed the problem from those days of soldiers on welfare. I was in during that time and remember this old way of married soldiers pay.
baq with vha to make up the cola in those states. it wasn't enough so congress in 1993 fixed that to what we have now. baq type and type two with enough pay for each on it as its based on the price of renting/owning in each county.

uhm ok so another carter then? where we get a military to inept to save its own people from the hostage takers in iran. one too weak and broken that if isreal did need us, send in the French. carter didn't break the dod per say, but he didn't make it strong. Russia at the time up to regean was buzzing over us a lot. regean let them now we could well make sure that the aircraft wasn't prone to an air traffic problem. Russia also buzzed west Germany a lot and france.
cuba buzzed Miami as well. regean wasn't perfect but he was the right person for that time. he was able to mobilise the left and the right to do what was needed. Obama cant even get his own party to do really do what he wants they do fight him as well and distance themselves from him. even when they do support him they are now back tracking that idea(Obama care and other less popular things).
the man you seem to like via his divisive ways is making it harder to be a cop, serve in the military. why? even in the prisons they are calling it a violation of their rights when told what they were told when they were booked into the facilities.

No question about it, but the left actively speaks out against godliness as a lifestyle. At least the right has a semblance of godliness.

Are you okay with a right wing Uncle Sam making it so a working man's wages are enough without the help of a second income to pay ALL the bills for his family?
That doesn't mean Uncle Sam isn't moving people's tax dollars around to make that happen. It means he isn't doing it in a Robin Hood fashion....or in a way that enables immoral and careless and over indulgent or lazy behavior as the left does.
