alright, lets clarify something.
When is a human, with-out sin.
when is BB, or myself, with out sin?
Nah, cause as soon as I was without sin I would be prideful about it.Soma-Sight said:alright, lets clarify something.

I think you are without sin when you are not sinning! :P
It is true we are born into sin ,matt said:as soon as we're born we're sinners so I'd say until we die we will never be without sin
but those people were not "true believers"

How do you know that some were believers and some weren't?
Ok, we could do without the melodrama. Show some respect while you're here please. It's God, not god. Thank you very much.peace4all said:Vic said:Before anyone answers that, I want peace4all to explain to us what Jesus was trying to teach His Apostles in that passage. that is jesus teaching the apostles, that daddy (god) gave him teh power to push around anything that didnt do what he wants.
It was awfully selfish of jesus to do that.
Well, Jesus did seize the moment and did touch on Faithful prayer, but that wasn't the lesson of the Fig Tree. Also, prayer is an act of faith, discipline and obedience. It's not a means in which we beg for God to grant our every wish and whim. He is not a puppet. It is truly sad that many nonbelievers and believers alike see prayer in that light. What he taught his apostles, is that, if they truly believe, they can achieve whatever they want.
You are close. This wasn't actually a test, but a warning and lesson on Faith, obedience and bearing fruit.. Also, it wasn't necessarily directed at the Apostles, but rather at the Jews and the Nation of Israel as a whole. They had religion, but little faith. They would become like the Fig Tree if they continued this way. Jesus is telling them Israel would wither away to it's very roots if they didn't have faith. We can see that in Mark's telling of the same event...Speaking of that. The apostles, those that would arguably be closest to god, Seemed to have flunked the tests of god, because they never had faith in him.
Heh? Where did you get this???btw, i was always told that christians are born with sin, and have it until their rebirth in heaven.

But the LORD gave HIS blood ,that we could be free of sin ,and be in a personal relationship as in the garden ,before man kind sinned .
That is why we MUST be born again .A new birth .
This birth is spiritual .You see?we are spirit as GOD is ,then soul and body .The LORD died that our spirit could be sin less .
This is how we are once we are born of GOD ?2Co 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
1Jo 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
BIG STATEMENT ?AS HE IS IN HEAVEN ?WE ARE HERE ON EARTH !
THIS IS THAT NEW BIRTH !
Joh 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
THIS TELLS OF IT IN THE OLD TESTAMENT !
Eze 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.
This is who our new inner man ,is copied from .
1Co 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
The 2nd adam is our LORD JESUS CHRIST
This is our new nature!
2Pe 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
The problem is not understanding we are 3 parts ,spirit ,soul and flesh
GOD is a spirit ,
They that come to HIM ,must come in spirit ,and truth
When we read the bible ?We must think which is that talking about?my spirit my soul or my flesh ?
peace4all said:I do not think "God" would be a puppet to people. Because if people truly believed in "God" enough to have their prayers answered, their prayers would not be selfish or anything of that nature.
