I'm 31...soon to breeze into 32 (God willing). I had random gray hairs in high school, but then most of my hair fell out...then it grew back...and now I've seen my 1st gray hair in my new hair, lol. Actually, 2; one on my temple, and one up top. I got the hair cut all short+respectable, finally, so I can't see anymore gray hairs...

...when did you notice your first gray hair?

It can happen from various shampoo, conditioners, mousse, hairspray, gels.

Not necessarily age.

But then...
When you get hair as blonde as mine...first it goes a shade darker then greys...but it's kinda subtle so if I don't show it or you ain't looking for it you won't notice.

I didn't know that about blonde hair. Interesting...

I'm just curious. My mom started covering her's around 35/36. My dad's pushing 60 and doesn't have a whole lot of gray hair. One of my friends started going gray rapidly after HS and has been covering it for years now (we're the same age).

I don't put stuff in my hair, but I do use a kinda hardcore shampoo (3% salicylic acid). I wonder if maybe that's it...

Grey hair is weird. I got a very few in my mid 30's? Then they went away. Then they came back. Then went away and came back again...I thought I had it figured out, that grey hairs come with periods of stress, but I don't know for sure.

The bible says grey hairs are a blessing of sorts. It probably refers to being able to live long enough to go grey.

There's also a blurb in the Bible about women's hair...being special or something like that. I've wondered if we may be missing a spiritual truth about our hair?

That we have it, how we wear it, and perhaps even its color, with grey being the best. The Bible does mention it, so it has to have a (spiritual) significance, right?

Is grey hair truly a sign of wisdom?
I'm 54 now and pretty grey...I'm OK with it. I've looked at the just for men stuff in the store before and just laughed. Why cover up what God has said is a blessing?!

I'm not lookin to dye my hair, lol. I did all that as a teenager...with disastrous results (did I mention that my hair fell out for a while?).

I'm just curious. They say its genetic and doesn't indicate how healthy/unhealthy you are, unless you're deficient in some vitamins...then you go gray prematurely (and also have other problems).

Honestly, I"m mostly happy to have hair again...the color (or lack thereof) isn't all that important.

I noticed grays a couple of years ago in my beard. I could count them by number, then it went like salt and pepper, and now its more like the decendants of Abraham.

Yeah, grew the first full beard of my life winter before last and it was weird because as it came in my hair lost all its gray and it went to my beard.

Comes with easy life

Uh-oh. If these are the good old days...then the future is gonna be tough.

That said, Praise the Lord! I have to assume that the Lord is teaching me patience and endurance that I will need in my eternity with Him.
