Praying for your enemies and "those who despitefully use you : " I've been doing a lot of this lately. Seriously: I should have prayed more in line with what The Bible tells us to do a lot sooner! At first, I did it out of obligation--"I'm a Christian,this is how we pray," thoughts like that--but then,something amazing happened: I changed.

I'm more compassionate. I can step inside the life and circumstances of others a bit better. I don't get the self-righteous indignation quite as much, nor do I get terrible self-pity quite as bad.

So...that's me. How has prayer changed you, if you don't mind the Q ?
 
That's a great testimony to Gods transforming work! Thank you for sharing!

I pray for wisdom, understanding but mostly patience and Gods been working on me for a long time now. It has made me a more thoughtful person, but I still have a long way to go.
