I haven't really studied it that deeply. As I understand it He was born on Rosh Hashanah
Yes that's correct. And your astronomical position is not that bad. I believe that torahcalendar.com believes he was born 3BC and crucified 34 AD. The latter I agree with because of the day of the week, but the difference between the dates is not 12240 days. But when I used that time span, I came to Sept 18, 1BC in which the astronomical position of the sun and moon was as good as or better than in 3BC.
Now... this I say that the dates I came up with are because of the 3 criteria I mentioned earlier. I have no love for these specific dates. It's just that IF those 3 criteria are correct, then those are the only dates possible, i.e. September 18, 1BC and March 24, 34AD. This means he was born the same day of the week he arose, late Sabbath! And, I was not even looking for that! I just noticed it after the fact (of the calculations) which dismisses the idea I was framing his birth/death on a preconceived idea.
I jokingly dub myself "Sir Isaac Newton lite". I found out that I am a strange mixture of theology, prophecy, mathematics, physics, and astronomy just as he was, but I'm not as smart, but similar in interests and personality. He (IMO) was the world's greatest theologian who knew the bible and languages better than most. And it takes a scientist and mathematician to give a life-giving and universal slant to "just theology".
